In Puy-de-Dôme, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Auvergne Volcanoes, you’ll find camping l'Europe. The campsite with mainly mobile homes, but also spacious touring pitches, is watched by the Château de Murol. This medieval castle is situated on a mountain top north of the campsite. Slide down the water slide, with a view of the mountains, or take a dip in the nearby Lac Chambon.

Well-maintained campsite with mobile homes
The image of the campsite is mainly formed by rental accommodation. You can choose from almost one hundred and fifty mobile homes. Just as many permanent provice a holiday spot to regular camping guests. Yet the area with the sixty touring pitches is still considerable. Especially because the pitches are very spacious. They are beautifully laid out between the trees and colourful flower. From your pitch you have a view of the surrounding mountains.
Swimming pool between the mountains
From the high water slide, which ends into a separate pool next to the heated pool, you have a good view of the mountains of the Auvergne. You would hardly want to slide down. Next to the pool, small swimmers can play in a paddling pool. Around the pool are sun loungers (with parasols) for the necessary relaxing hours in the sun or shade.
Lac Chambon
Lac Chambon is located in a beautiful spot among the green mountains, just two kilometres from the campsite. Not only is it a nice place to swim and have a good time at the beach, but you can also enjoy a nice walk around the lake, which takes about an hour. It's only a fifteen minute bike ride from the campsite to the lake.
