Centrally located in the Auvergne, 250 m from the centre of the charming village of Orcet, lies the well maintained camping site Le Clos Auroy. On the camping site (2.5 ha) you will find attractive flower beds which give the camping site a charming appearance. You have a direct view of the swimming pool and slides, bar and terrace. Especially families with young children, often in transit, visit this camping site.
View of the mountains
You will find the spacious camping pitches (100 m2) on four flat elevations with a great deal of privacy being provided by the tall conifers on both sides. You can also opt for a sociable small field that is shared with other campers. On the terraced camping site with hard surface, most camping pitches are in the shade. You can hire an ecolodge tent without sanitary facilities. There are also a few rental mobile homes on the camping site.
The swimming paradise has a playful design with artificial rocks. You can swim in the heated pool (72 m2), glide down the water slides or enjoy the jacuzzi pool with rapid. The heated toddler pool with fountain is quite large.
You can order pizza, French fries and ice cream from the snack bar. There is also a small camping shop for basic groceries. The village has a supermarket. Each morning (in high season only) a baker with bread cart can be found at the gate.
The camping site is directly situated along a river with adjacent footpath. This allows you to explore the region starting from the grounds. On the camping site is a large playground, a trampoline, a sports field, jeu-de-boule pitch and a table tennis table.

Liked - Great site with friendly, helpful staff. Great for our stop on the way south as conviennent for the motorway. Due to it only being a one night stop for us, we haven’t explored the area.
Disliked - Not sure the pool area would be enough for our teenagers if we were staying longer.
Liked - Nice private pitches, separated by hedges
Disliked - Pool area was great but would be improved by being larger
Liked - Very well laid out site with all amenities
Liked - We come here every year en route to our holiday destination. We like the campsite so much we have stayed 3 nights instead of one. The little take away prepares lovely food and the drinks from the bar are not overpriced. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.
Liked - The location is peaceful and the site is clean and well run.
Returning from touring Spain and used as a one night stop off. Wouldn\'t stay longer due to the price very expensive at €27.60 2 adults and 2 dogs, no ACSI till March. Unisex facilities were heated which was good and all facilities were fine. Nice walk for the dogs behind the site along a river. Pitches very big and private with hedges, only a few vans on, maybe due to price and the gentleman on reception certainly needed to go to charm school. I can\'t comment on child friendliness sport facilities, nothing open for food and drink. Pool had been left dirty over winter but I\'m sure would be nice in summer.
Liked - Lovely place for a couple of nights
Disliked - We stayed out of season and the site looked tired
Stopped in November 18, only 2 vans on the site. Nothing in the town open, just a bakers and supermarket. Little to see in small town. Unisex indoor facilities, hot water. Facilities tired. Close to motorway.
Liked - The location is great, and having a simple but good restaurant on site is a real bonus.
Disliked - No, not really it all worked out well
Liked - Swimming area and friendly staff who were lovely to us.
Disliked - No hairdryer in female shower area
