On a hill near the picturesque harbour town of Binic in de Côtes-d’Armor, a region with lovely fishing villages, you will find the terraced camping site Le Panoramic. To reach this friendly family camping site, located at an altitude of 56 m, you have to follow an inclined road. On a spacious terrain, some 6 ha in size, there are 57 rental mobile homes and lodge tents.
Camping on terraces
The sloping camping pitches are not very spacious (minimum 80 m2) and are separated from each other by low hedges. They are distributed over several terraces. From the camping site, you have limited views of Binic. It takes ten minutes to walk to the wide sandy beach. Binic is also within walking distance from the camping site. There is a small camping shop where you can buy the essential groceries. You can order fresh bread.
Swimming paradise and entertainment
The aqua park consists of a playfully designed, heated outdoor swimming pool (125 m2) with a water slide and a toddler pool. You can also enjoy a swim in the covered, heated swimming pool (140 m2) or relax in the loungers around the pool.
In peak season, entertainment is organised for children and for adults. There is a playground with some playground equipment, a trampoline and a jumping pillow. Apart from the table tennis table and pétanque pitch, there is a sports field where you can also play beach volleyball. You can do horseback riding and play golf for a fee.
Tasty fish dish
The food truck and rotisserie on the camping site offer a reasonable selection in peak season. A tasty fish dish can be made on request. There is something happening every night: Breton dancing, karaoke, theme evenings and quizzes. In the bar things often get very relaxed and convivial.

Only stayed for one night. This site is really convenient for visiting the nice little town of Binic. It’s about a 600m walk downhill into town where there are some good restaurants and beaches. Toilets and showers were clean though maybe ready for a refit. Out pitch was a decent size and we needed the levelling ramps to level up our motorhome. The site seems mainly to be permanent vans/chalets. The pool was excellent, with a waterslide for the kids. Bread available to order and a selection of basics at the site shop.
A site with friendly staff and a view over Binic from the reception area.
The facility for activities on site are excellent, we were given a choice of pitch, some more shady than others, some quite small for larger units and not particulatly well kept.
Toilet facilities were very good.
A good area for site seeing and walking on the coastal path.
Quite a number of chalets on site.
This is a very nice campsite a 15 minute walk from the pretty port of Binic which has a good selection of shops and restaurants. It's downhill on the way, a bit more of a challenge on the way back! It is a terraced site and our pitch was slightly sloping but a very good size. No restaurant on site but bread can be ordered. Across the road is a good dog walking park but please note, dogs are unfortunately not allowed on the beach. Clean toilets and showers. No loo paper though and why no toilet seats? Can never understand that. We enjoyed our stay and really liked Binic itself.
Situated on a steep hill about 15 minutes walk from Binic itself, Camping Le Panoramic, although a hilly site, has reasonable sized, fairly level, well maintained pitches some of which would be difficult to access with a larger unit. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Showers are excellent and spotlessly clean / toilets are clean but no toilet seats or paper. There is a good bar, large pool and many other play facilities. There is no shop on site although you can order bread and there are a few regional products and some essentials available from the office. Good supermarkets are nearby and the town, harbour and beaches offer plenty to do and see.
We have visited this superb site several times now, and on every occasion it is simply the way we remember and love it. Claudine and Serge and all their staff are to be congratulated.
Stayed 3 nights on way back to Roscoff (approx 1 3/4 hours steady drive). Owners very welcoming & friendly, superb heated pool, pitches adequate but could do with being little larger depth wise rather than width. Lovely cycle or walk down to picturesque Binic, not so good coming back (all up hill). Site itself nice & peaceful. Would definitely use again when in the area.
We found the marked out pitches on this site very tight for a double axle caravan. The hedges marking out each 4 unit area where we parked make the access quite tight to manoeuvre, a smaller unit or motor mover would make it easier but as the site description stated it was suitable for an 8 metre van we didn't expect a problem. I can speak reasonable French, but anyone without a fair command of the language may have a problem as during our stay, the available staff spoke little or no English. The site although busy was very peaceful and within easy access of the harbour and its restaurants. It's approx. 1000 metres from the site to the town, we opted to drive as the walk back up the hill was not that well lit.
You can easily miss the turning for the site when you drop into Binic on single road the site is a sharp right turn. The site access is good but most of the pitches are very tight and not long enough for our 8m caravan. The pitches are sloping and as said before do not have views of the bay but some of the statics do. We only used the site for a two night stopover on way to ferry but liked the area.
Not actually overlooking Binic. There are not views from most pitches but quiet and friendly. Pitches a bit tight for motorhomes and all sloping
Having arrived at this site after a long drive we booked in for an unknown number of nights using the ACSI card. Nice, heplful people run this site.
Having a 7.9m length motor home we found the site very cramped and claustrophobic. Regardless of using tire blocks we spent an uncomfortable night at an angle due to the uneven pitch. (We'd tried most pitches we could get on)
Overhanging trees were a problem on some pitches, we're 3m high and we did not want to damage our van.
The distance to the beach is 500m+(the site manager confirmed this) downhill, and the same uphill return. Not good for infirm elderly and disabled people. Manager also stated motor homes are not allowed down in the harbour!
Panoramic views of Binic, as stated in the ACSI book, sorry no there isn't.
It would be a good idea to have this site reworded then folk would not feel disappointed when they arrive on site.
