Camping Domaine du Logis is located on the estate of a 15th-century castle in French Brittany. The historical buildings, such as the old stables, have been renovated and now serve as a restaurant or sanitary building. The swimming pool is located between the old buildings. The campsite is near La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens, between Rennes and Saint-Malo. Take your car to visit sights such as the Mont-Saint-Michel, Cancale or Combourg. Or climb on your bicycle and follow the cycle route along the Canal d’Ille et Rance to Saint-Malo and Dinard. To explore the area from the water, you can rent a canoe near the campsite.

Grand Confort camping pitches and modern mobile homes

Family campsite Domaine du Logis is located in a wooded area and is divided into one section for campers with their own camping equipment and one section with rental accommodations. You can opt for a Grand Confort pitch, where you camp on a pitch separated by hedges and provided with electricity, water and drainage connections, or you can camp on a slightly more open field with younger vegetation.  All camping pitches are spacious and have a grass surface. 

Swimming in a castle-like setting

The swimming pool at campsite Domaine du Logis is located in the courtyard between the old outbuildings of the castle. This creates a special atmosphere. The swimming pool is heated and there is a separate section for small children. During high season you can join the aqua dance lessons which are offered several times a week. The Atlantic Ocean is roughly half an hour's drive away.

Liked - Propreté des allées et des parterres du camping, joli architecture du domaine
Disliked - Piscine sans toboggan pour les grands, snack avec des horaires étranges :fermė sur l heure de midi ; et pas vraiment de choix car entre nuggets frites et pizzas on s'en lasse.... Pas de wifi dispo ds logement car très mauvaise qualité de réception.

Liked - The camping plots are very large. The showers are very spacious. Very friendly staff.
Disliked - Half of the showers are either too hot or too cold. The showers are not very clean (walls, edges). There was no entertainmeng for adolescent children.

Liked - Très beau domaine au cœur d’un parc bien aménagé. Mobil homes espacés les uns des autres.
Disliked - La literie et l’option linge de lit ne sont pas au niveau.
La gestion laisse à désirer : erreur dans le suivi des réservations, une gérante pas très agréable surtout avec son personnel. Je tiens féliciter toutes ces personnes qui malgré les sous effectifs et les remarques de la gérante devant les clients, restent souriants et aimables avec les clients.

Liked - Ik kom hier nu voor het vierde jaar op rij en zoals altijd zijn de kampeerplaatsen erg ruim met veel privacy. Helaas is de camping blijkbaar van eigenaar gewisseld in 2021. Nu werken er naar mijn mening mensen die gewoon hun werk uitvoeren maar er geen passie meer is. de vorige eigenaar reed in de ochtend altijd een x rond over de camping met een "goedemorgen groet". Het personeel doet zijn ding maar geeft je niet het "welkom klant" gevoel.
Disliked - Personeel wat weinig tot geen interesse heeft om het de klant naar hun zin te maken. Het restaurant hebben we om de paar dagen bezocht, wat trouwens erg goed is. Maar extra medewerking was ver te vinden. Een x kwamen we om 21:00 aan maar konden we er niet meer eten, keuken dicht. Dit terwijl ze pas om 18:30 open gaan. Een andere x wilde we graag een stukje verder in het restaurant zitten i.p.v. voor de deur maar dat kon niet want alle andere plaatsen waren gereserveerd. Aan het einde van de avond toen wij om 21:30 het restaurant verlieten was er niemand meer het restaurant binnen gelopen......

Liked - Locatie is perfect voor uitstapjes. Camping is groot genoeg, maar tegelijkertijd ook heerlijk rustig. Zeker als je in een vd cabines zit. Ruim opgezet!
We komen niet voor niets al 5 jaar terug!

Liked - Prachtige locatie met een schilderachtig kasteel.
Een mooi restaurant en bar in een prachtig hofje rond het zwembad zijn erg fijn en de snackbar is ook erg goed.
Zwembad met ruime waterspeeltuin met name gericht op de jongere kinderen. Goed verwarmd zwemwater zodat ook met minder weer zwemmen prettig is.
De midgetgolfbaan, fietscrossbaan, tafeltennistafels en petanque banen erg netjes en verzorgd en ook een laadpaal voor elektrische auto’s.
Disliked - Animatie alleen voor de kleintjes. Mijn zoon van 13 heeft zich prima vermaakt in het zwembad maar de animatie liet te wensen over voor deze groep (10-18)

Liked - Loved ever minute I chose this site for my husband but my teenagers loved it even more. We stayed at 11 sites on our holiday this year and we all agreed this was our favourite out of all them in France and Germany. We would recommend to anyone and we will try to get back again even for a short break.
