Camping Domaine du Logis is located on the estate of a 15th-century castle in French Brittany. The historical buildings, such as the old stables, have been renovated and now serve as a restaurant or sanitary building. The swimming pool is located between the old buildings. The campsite is near La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens, between Rennes and Saint-Malo. Take your car to visit sights such as the Mont-Saint-Michel, Cancale or Combourg. Or climb on your bicycle and follow the cycle route along the Canal d’Ille et Rance to Saint-Malo and Dinard. To explore the area from the water, you can rent a canoe near the campsite.

Grand Confort camping pitches and modern mobile homes

Family campsite Domaine du Logis is located in a wooded area and is divided into one section for campers with their own camping equipment and one section with rental accommodations. You can opt for a Grand Confort pitch, where you camp on a pitch separated by hedges and provided with electricity, water and drainage connections, or you can camp on a slightly more open field with younger vegetation. All camping pitches are spacious and have a grass surface.

Swimming in a castle-like setting

The swimming pool at campsite Domaine du Logis is located in the courtyard between the old outbuildings of the castle. This creates a special atmosphere. The swimming pool is heated and there is a separate section for small children. During high season you can join the aqua dance lessons which are offered several times a week. The Atlantic Ocean is roughly half an hour's drive away.

Liked - The Reception staff were superb in helping us sort out PCR tests and Passenger Locator forms. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked - It's only a niggle. On the night we arrived we had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. So we went back later in the week for a repeat of the meal. Maybe it was a communication problem but what we ordered from the same menu bore little resemblance to what the menu detailed. We quivered. The waitress went back to the chef. Our meal arrived once more now as described on the menu. We got an apology from the waitress but not from the kitchen. Should the chef have read his own menu?

Liked - we stayed for 4 nights . Beautiful site, large pitches which you could choose yourself. Swimming pool lovely . Hired electric bikes and went for a bike ride along the canal ( five minutes away from the site). Great location to visit both DINAN and St. Malo. Could have stayed longer.
Disliked - The washing up facility had only tepid water at all times of the day, which was disappointing. However showers were really hot and nice. Very good washing machine facilities.

Liked - The size of pitch. The look of the campsite. The fantastic restaurant and takeaway. The patience and professionalism of the staff.
Disliked - Not the campsites fault but one noisy Dutch couple playing their radio late in the evening with no regard to fellow campers.

Liked - The facilities are excellent. The staff are helpful and polite. The site is really clean. We would certainly come again and have already recommended the site to others
Disliked - Whilst the pitches were big they appeared to be cramped and close to one another. Difficult to find when going dark snd the map of the pitches given to us at reception had such small font it was difficult to read. It was also disappointing that the pitch we booked was taken by someone else and we were told to go and find another one. Apparently, guests can pitch up on any available pitch regardless of it being allocated to them or not
