An idyllic location by the sea, couldn\'t be more beautiful. Facilities ok but mixed toilets a bit messy. But the pitch was far too lumpy for a tent (ok for camper, think had insect mounds as they came back with us), and too small so no room to sit outside the tent or park easily. We nearly left on arrival but worried about not getting somewhere else. The young lady at reception did not care two hoots how upset we were with the pitch, nor the owner when she phoned her, very unhelpful. But the next morning there was a very lovely lady at reception - wish she had been there on arrival, who you felt might come up with a solution for swapping around better pitches. There were lovely pitches however so it would be great if you could secure one of these, you would have a great holiday. Nothing for 11 & 13 year olds on site but the wonderful bay so close it doesn\'t matter.
We stayed 2 weeks into the season in May. The site was very quiet with no more than 4 tourers at any one time. None of the statics were occupied. The toilets and showers were the best I have ever seen. However, it would appear that the pizzaria, bread service and children\'s play area only happen in the very high season, but the village within easy walking distance has 3 cafes and a small supermarket. It is a great place for a quiet break and we will go again. Not sure its the place for children other that very young ones.
