Flower Camping La Pointe du Talud is located just a few metres from the coast of Brittany, slightly south-west of the harbour town of Lorient. Here you camp directly by the Atlantic Ocean and four hundred metres from the beach. There is enough to do for all family members on this friendly family campsite: swimming in the covered pool, taking part in game evenings and arts and crafts with the entertainment team.

A great atmosphere

The friendliness of the proprietress is reflected throughout the campsite. There is an amiable atmosphere on the well maintained grounds, where you camp on average-sized pitches, separated by hedges. Some pitches are located in a beautiful setting under the trees. A fairly large proportion of the campsite is reserved for mobile homes.

Covered swimming in the sun

The covered swimming pool is located near the entrance. The roof is transparent so you can bask in the sunlight even when you are in the pool. Attention gents and boys: bring your speedo along, because -as is the case on many campsites in France- the 'slip de bain' is compulsory here.

Rocky coast

A sand track near the entrance leads to the rocky coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Great for a walk or to catch a breath of fresh air, but swimming is not possible here. Not to worry, because some two hundred metres along, between the rocks, you will find a sandy beach from where you can get into the sea. There are more similar beaches in the vicinity, hence plenty of choice.

Activities for young and old

The activity hall, behind the swimming pool near the entrance of the campsite, is the central meeting place of the camping guests. In addition to having a meal together here, concerts and games evenings or arts and crafts afternoons are organised in this hall.

Disliked - Le nettoyage du mobil-home devrait être fait par des professionnels pour une petite charge en plus.
Le Wifi étant bien cher ne fonctionnait pourtant pas ou très mal

Liked - Le camping est bien situé, au calme. Dès la sortie, on accède à la lande, avec ses sentiers et ses bruyères en fleur. Très vite, on est au bord de la mer, avec les rochers, les vagues... Le camping est bien conçu : les emplacements des mobil homes permettent de garer sa voiture facilement et on n'a pas de vis à vis, il y a de belles haies. Amélie et Nicolas sont sympas et pros, il font tout pour rendre le séjour facile et agréable. Les + : le matelas est de bonne qualité, les moules et les frites sont bonnes et les portions sont généreuses. Alors, si nous le pouvons, nous reviendrons !
