The GOOD-Our plot was very quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The BAD,- The site is poorly lit at night , the unisex toilet block has (very briefly!!)timed lighting!!! and the smelly and dirty urinals are situated right next to the washing up sinks....fully exposed to all and sundry!!!!! The QUESTIONABLE- much money has been invested in building a reading room ( No-one went there during our stay of several nights) and in building a beautifully landscaped play area and installing enormous inflatables...( hardly used during our stay). However, with toilets of such a poor and unacceptable calibre and a lack of a pool when temperatures were 30 degrees during our September stay one questions the priorities of the owners and we came away with a feeling of them penny pinching on basic requirements.
Beautiful site full of trees and well maintained shrubs and even herb beds - a compost - and if you have suitable leftovers you can feed them to the guinea pigs / goats and chickens ! lovely cycle route down to beach and Super u on outskirts of lovely town of Sarzeau only 2 k away - very peaceful site
Despite being busy due to a bi-annual regatta we had a lovely roomy pitch with good access to water and waste. Really friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English although she did patiently let us try our French with her. Good cycle rides around the area and the beach only 800 metres down a tree shaded avenue.
This is a very well looked after site in a quiet area, a nice walk to the beach and along the coast, the toilets are kept very clean, the owners and staff are very helpful and friendly with good English spoken.
Unfortunately we did have a slight misunderstanding on how long we were staying and were advised at 7.00pm that we would have to leave the next day due to the site being booked, so please be very clear on how long you are staying, it,s no fun having to empty and pack your awning at short notice.
This was a lovely and very peaceful campsite set in natural surroundings. The pitches are slightly sloping you need chocks for motorhomes. Very tidy site, close to sarzeau which recommend a visit to the castle. It\'s ideal for couples and seniors. Sanitary facilities clean and hot water.
We spent two weeks at this site in September 2014. The location is wonderful. We enjoyed the numerous cycle routes that take you throughout the region. Many of the routes are away from cars. The beaches are spectacular. Some of the beaches you can only get to by walking along the board walk which is only a short distance from the campsite. The pitches are quite close together compared with some sites. However all the people on site were of the same mind and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The only noise at night are the numerous owls!
There is a large supermarket a short drive from the site. Bread can be ordered from the very helpful family team that manage the site. A wonderful location that is full of surprises.
We love this very friendly and extremely clean site. Very handy for the beach and Sarzeau also, making the bikes extremely eco friendly.
We will return.
Very good, Merci
An exceptionally friendly family run site. With English spoken and large well served and marked pitches. Spotless facilities.A great touring area in the Gulfe of Morbihan with the local town of Sarzeau a lovely market town.
Family run site where they run the site in a very friendly, helpful and happy environment and get totally involved. Nothing is too much trouble.
Fantastic owners; can\'t do enough to make you welcome and make sure that you have a truly wonderful holiday. The site is wonderful and so pretty. The pitches are quite large so you don\'t feel cramped. The facilities are very clean. It is great that you can order bread/baguettes or croissants for the following morning - so no need to leave the site to get breakfast (unless you want to). The site being 800m from the beach is such a plus and it is a lovely walk through the trees. The Gulf of Morbihan is fantastic with so much to do for all ages. It is such a lovely site it draws you back year after year (or it has us). We have been going there for several years now.
