Camping Le Bois Guillaume is in a quiet, rural location in the French Burgundy region. Here, you camp in a large forested area. This spot is perfect for people who like the countryside and quiet. This is also a wonderful campsite for families. The heated outdoor swimming pool is open during the high season and you can go for a lovely swim here. There are plenty of fun activities to do such as playing on the swings, treasure hunts, table tennis, miniature golf and there is even a real escape room. The campsite is open throughout the year.

Camping in the forest

You feel at one with nature at Camping Le Bois Guillaume! There are lots of trees at the site, providing many pitches with shade. The campsite has 38 spacious camping pitches, separated by hedges. You can also hire accommodation. There are mobile homes, chalets, lodge tents and group accommodation for 20 people. Le Bois Guillaume has two toilet blocks, of which one is open all year and is heated during the cold winter months.

Countryside, castles and cities

Burgundy is a beautiful hilly region with lots of countryside. You can go on wonderful walks and bike rides here. If you love history and culture, there are many beautiful castles in the area, for example, Saint-Fargeau (14 km), Château de Ratilly (29.5 km), Druyes-Les-Belles-Fontaines (42 km) and La Bussière (32 km). A visit to the city of Auxerre (43.5 km) is also recommended. Wander through the historic city with its timber-framed houses and walk along the River Yonne that flows through the city.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - a very hot period and the shade afforded by the trees was very welcome. This is our third stay here and one always feels welcome. A perfect place to relax. The restaurant was excellent and we very much enjoyed eating there. On one previous stay we had a problem with our Camper and they greatly assisted us in liaising with the local garage which very promptly and efficiently rectified it.
