To say I was very disappointed in this site is putting it mildly. I arrived for what should have been a local trip down me memory lane. The reception was closed when I arrived but eventually this rather surly lady arrived and insisted that the ACSI discount was finished although it was only 29th June. When I questioned this she shrugged and said she didn’t know why. Particularly galling to find she was the owner/manager.
The site was rather unkempt. The washing sink area had a bucket half full of sand, presumably for cigarette ends. Within a couple of days it was full of rubbish, take away wrappers etc. It remained unemptied for the 3 days of my stay. The temperature at the time was 25-30 degrees so not very hygienic.
I confirmed with ACSI that the discount rate should have applied and they said I should ask for a refund. By this time I was home again in the UK. The site did confirm that I was owed the money but in spite of giving her cheap alternatives to a bank transfer the surly lady chose to ignore these and also ignore any following emails. I am still waiting for the refund.
I will not be staying there again and most certainly not recommend it to anyone else.

Good site, with arboretum, and good parkland / lakeside walks.

Current (excellent) manager relocating 29 March 2019 to a river island site near Dieppe.

Fantastic, we stayed for 6 nights and could of stayed longer if we didn’t need to return to uk. The owners are so friendly and lovely, the site is a credit to them. Facilities were spotless and swimming pool was wonderful. We will return to this tranquil site.

We have stayed at this site twice now and will be visiting again. The site is in the unspoiled area of Perche and blends into the surroundings. Play area and swimming pool, restaurant and very good tennis courts. The owners are very friendly and it is a relaxing place to stay, with enough for the grand children to do. It is within walking distance of La Ferte-Vidame and the ruined chateau.

Interesting little site, in a lovely area. One half of the site has level open gravel pitches, the other is grass and shady. Owner charming and pleasant. Not sure what the restaurant is like, although it looked fine. The local town, Ferte Vidame is lovely, and the ruins of the chateau next to the site are amazing. Nice for cycling as it is very flat. Facilities slightly dated, very quiet when we stayed in late June.

Peaceful site in a forest location but near to a small town a park with old chateau. Good for cycling as mostly flat . We cycled to an afternoon of horse and trap racing at the local 'hippodrome' which was a great spectacle. The site has plenty of shady pitches and they are well spaced out. Only a couple of toilets, but both toilets and showers were always very clean ( you need your own toilet paper). Owners really helpful and friendly although neither speak English. Our bits of French and hand signals were fine to get by on though. Good value stay.

What an excellent campsite. Everything about this campsite was 5 star from the exceptionally friendly staff, facilities, pool, hot water, heated shower block through to the value for money. Easy walk to small town and walks around the nearby park. The food was terrific value for money three courses with wine 12 euros. All well cooked. Would give this site 11/10. So good we stopped going down and back.

Very helpful and friendly owners on a beautifully located and well-maintained site. Excellent value with good pitches and facilities. Very good meal at their restaurant, just a pity it's not open every day. Even their dog seemed pleased to welcome us.
