Camping de Montlouis-sur-Loire in Montlouis-sur-Loire is a small campsite with only the basic amenities that you need to enjoy a quiet and peaceful camping holiday. This campsite is also often used as a campsite for travellers passing through, so that you can enjoy a wooded campsite by the water a little longer before heading further down to the south of France.

Small-scale campsite

The campsite is a small and welcoming campsite with 76 spacious camping pitches. There are also a couple of mobile homes for rent for a comfortable holiday in the Loire region. From the reception at the front of the campsite, you can drive to your camping pitch over well-paved roads. The camping pitches are grass and are separated by low hedges. Furthermore, it is possible to choose a pitch with plenty of sun or shade.

The sanitary facilities on campsite de Montlouis-sur-Loire are well-cared for, and there are facilities available for the disabled.

For the children

Do you feel like going for a swim? You can do so in the public outdoor swimming pool just 200 metres away from campsite de Montlouis-sur-Loire. But there is plenty to do at the campsite as well! There is a playground, a boules court, a table tennis table and a volleyball court. In the peak season, several fun activities are organised throughout the week by an entertainment team.

The historical town of Amboise is located just a few kilometres from the campsite. Here, you can visit the castle, an architectural gem from the Renaissance period. The balconies, rooftops and gardens of this castle offer stunning views of the Loire region.

Es war für uns vollkommen unverständlich wie dieser Platz mit 8,4 bewertet werden kann. Wir trafen auf einen Platz, welcher zwar sehr schön eingeteilt und großzügige Plätze aufwies, aber was die sanitären Einrichtungen anbetrifft,sich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand befindet. Von Aquadis Loisiers, den Betreibern von 16 weiteren Plätzen, waren wir das nicht gewohnt. Wahrscheinlich handelt es sich bei dem Platz um den ehemaligen Gemeindeplatz. Auf jeden Fall ist hier eine umfangreiche Renovierung sehr notwendig.

Liked - guter Platz, leicht zu erreichen, schönes Ambiente, freundliches Personal, Sanitäranlagen im Prinzip gut, aber Duschen und Toiletten renovierungsbedürftig, kein Toilettenpapier! Für eine Übernachtung gut geeignet, einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich eher nicht empfehlen.
