Camping Parc de Fierbois is a family campsite on a recreational lake, just south of the Loire Valley in the Indre-et-Loire department. Adventure trail, tree houses and water park: here you'll find everything you need to give children a fantastic holiday. Enjoy a comfort pitch with private sanitary facilities, a game of pool in the bar and dive into one of the swimming pools.

The A10 takes you via Tours through the Loire Valley, where you cross the Indre just under Tours. At Sorigny's, you trade the A10 for the D910. Then drive south for another 15 minutes. The last part you drive on a narrow road through a forest. When you pass this road the gate of Camping Parc de Fierbois appears. The receptionists speak English.

Camping

You can choose a comfort pitch, situated on the shady edge of the forest or a spacious touring pitch on lawns with a more open character. Some pitches have private sanitary facilities, for extra luxury. Part of the communal sanitary facilities will be renewed in 2018.

Entertainment for the whole family

In addition to chalets, mobile homes and gîtes, you can also rent a tree house. Also adventurous for children is the climbing course at the lake. The lake itself offers all possibilities for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. The children can have even more water fun in the water park on the campsite. Deep and shallow pools run into each other here. The bar at the water park has a spacious outdoor café and there is often live music. The bar has a games hall with a.o. pool tables. There is also a separate restaurant and an extensive supermarket on the campsite.

Liked - Wandeling rond het water
Disliked - De camping slecht onderhouden zwembad had veel mankementen 2de dag van de vakantie melding gemaakt van kapot rooster een week later was er nog niks aan gedaan en mijn zoontje zijn voet aan het rooster opengehaald.

Liked - Mooie camping, aardig personeel, veel te doen, veel beschutting op warme dagen. Leuk speeltuintje dichtbij onze plek, leuk zwembad.
Disliked - Wc papier was vaak op, warm water was vaak op, zwembad rand was regelmatig stuk.

Liked - De houten chalets hebben een geweldige ligging. Het meertje in combinatie met de binnen/buiten zwembaden waren super. Het fort in Montbazon is leuk uitje.
Disliked - Er zijn te weinig mogelijkheden om 's middags op locatie te lunchen en/of een borrelhap te nuttigen.

Liked - Zeer leuke camping, veel te doen voor jonge kinderen. Leuke zwembaden. Goede campingwinkel. Vriendelijk personeel
Disliked - Glijbaan boven op het bordes is gevaarlijk glad (houten plank). Sta caravan sterk verouderd.

Liked - Prachtige grote plek.
Koelkast fijn.
Veel bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.
Goede kampwinkel
Veel douches geen wachttijd.
Disliked - De hoeveelheid toiletten.
Vaak wachten.
In de loop van de dag wc papier op waardoor er nog minder toiletten over waren.
Warm water douche en afwas soms op

Liked - De kampeerplaats was groot. Prive sanitair.
Disliked - Dat de camping niet goed onderhouden wordt. Overal hoog gras en onkruid. Bar was een grote hal en niet echt sfeervol. Na 21:00 kon ik niet eens een espresso krijgen??? Terras was een rommeltje en veel verschillende stoelen. Plantenbakken niet bijgehouden. Pizza’s op?? Glas kapot in de wand bij het zwembad. Hek los bij het zwembad. Stank glijbaan. Toezicht houders bij het zwembad waren meer met zichzelf bezig dan met de mensen die zwemmen en als ze dan ingrepen dan hadden ze alleen maar het fluitje. Puur machtsvertoon en niet kundig met andere talen. Al met al ver onder de maat voor 5 sterren..

Liked - Het park is mooi aangelegd. Er is voldoende vertier. De regio is interessant.
Disliked - De vloeren van de zwembaden voelen niet schoon.
Afvalscheiding is mogelijk, maar onduidelijk wat in welke bak hoort. Ook onvoldoende afvalbakken.
Frans en matig Engels zijn de voertalen, maar veruit de meeste gasten komen uit Nederland. Avondoptredens daardoor vaak niet te volgen.

Liked - Camping is vrij uitgestrekt maar alles is toch dichtbij. Veel aanbod qua activiteiten en als je een beetje zoekt is er ook heel veel in de nabije omgeving te vinden. Highlight voor ons was een klimbos op 20 min afstand van de camping en Fort Montbazon
Disliked - Veel faciliteiten zijn wel aan een opknapbeurt toe. Skelters die niet (goed) werken, 3x een defect toestel gehad in de speelhal, pooltafels zijn beschadigd en staan scheef.
