In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - This was our third stay at this wonderful campsite. Tim and Jane are friendly hosts who always make you feel welcome. It was interesting to see how the site has developed in the 5 years since our first visit in 2018. It has retained all of the attractive features whilst adding to the team of staff as it has become more busy. It was the perfect place to relax as we commenced the homeward leg of 4 week trip around.

Liked - Our third visit to this site. We love the large serviced pitches, the fantastic restaurant and bar area and the rural location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Disliked - Pitch sloped more then the one we had last year so needed to find additional blocks to get the caravan level. Beer wagon ran out of lager (not sites fault).

Großzügiger, schattiger Stellplatz für unser Zelt direkt an einer großen Wiese mit Blick aufs Schloss
Sanitäranlagen und Spülbereich immer sauber

Schöner, großzügiger Pool mit flachem Kleinkindbereich
Familienbad mit Babybadewanne
Indoor Spielhalle mit Kicker
Brötchenservice mit leckeren Backwaren
Milchbar mit gutem Kaffee und kleinem Shop für das notwendigste
Gute Snack Bar (Burger, Pommes, Hotdogs)
Sehr hilfsbereiter, netter Manager!
Disliked - Der Spielplatz für die kleinen Kinder ist sehr klein (eine Nestschaukel und balancier-Stangen). Die Nestschaukel hängt viel zu hoch (gefährlich für kleinere Kinder und schwierig, selbst hinein zu steigen)

Lage unattraktiv für Radtouren mit Kindern und etwas weit weg von den bekannten Loire Schlössern. Ansonsten aber sehr schöne Landschaft.

Liked - The friendlyness of the team. The excellent outside-seating in the amboise Appartement.
The well kept ancient buildings and the beautiful Pool.
Disliked - We stayed in appartment Amboise. It was a little damp, at nights very humid and hot. It is difficult to keep the floor of the shower dry. Maybe you could add mosquito nets at the windows in the future.
But these aspects dont lower the excellent time here.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The campsite looks absolute stunning. With the Castle and surroundings. Fabulous. And the swimming pool is fantastic. The water is heated up to 28 degrees so even in a pretty cold week that we were there it is lovely to swim in this pool. We had diner in the restaurant and for a camping restaurant the food was good and honest and at a very low price. To finish up: we enjoyed a wine tasting on the campsite led by Tim the owner. And that was really fun! and we even learned a lot about wine. So if you have the change... go over there and let yourself be overwelmed

Liked - We really enjoyed our time in the comfortable gite being able to use the lovely pool & facilities of the campsite and having good meals at the restaurant. We enjoyed winetasting on site & a boules tournament and local market coming to the site. We could also order bread & croissants etc each day.

Liked - Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht hier. Der Campingplatz mit seinen historischen Häusern versetzt einen in eine andere Zeit. Für Kinder gibt es viele Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen.
