In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Lovely campsite with a pleasantly small feel yet the nice customer touches of something somewhat bigger. Friendly staff going out of their way to make your stay better. Comfortable accommodation, a great pool, the Monday market was excellent, the free espressos a really nice touch, and the evening snack bar very useful.
Disliked - Not a complaint, but the restaurant menu (whilst looking lovely) didn't work for us due to a pescatarian child: the children's options were meat each day (not a surprise - this is France, after all!)
Whilst the Wednesday beer truck was nice, I think it would work better as a complement to the main bar, not a replacement for it.
But I'm nit-picking - the stay was lovely.

Travelling party: Couple

A gem of a site, north of Tours and Amboise. Superb location to visit the area and all the chateaux. We visited a couple during our stay and one in particular sticks in our mind, Chateau du Villandry which was simply stunning!
Amboise just a few kms away is beautiful. The campsite itself was excellent. Attentive staff, lovely small restaurant with hand picked vegetables from their garden. The swimming pool was like a hot bath, with a gradual slope on one side of the pool for people who struggle to get into the pool. This was particularly useful for my wife, who was recovering from a recent knee replacement operation.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Great chateau camping for our family with 2 teenagers and dog. Nice, very large half sun/shadow pitch (A17) . Great atmosphere and facilities (pool, multi sports, indoor ‘barn’).
Disliked - The WiFi

Liked - We had a lovely week, it's a quiet and Friendly camping. Had a meal in the restaurant which was good. We went to Tours and that is a 30 minute ride and a very nice town!
The swimmingpool is nice, we sometimes had it for our self. We liked the orangerie for a drink, but because of the low season not open every dag.

Disliked - We liked everything
The only thing was that the shop had not much, but we were in the low season.

Liked - The pitches were some of the largest I have seen.
The restaurant was excellent with friendly staff
Disliked - We required blocks to level the caravan. However the pitch was very uneven with pot holes

Liked - We spent a week enjoying the comfort and facilities at L’Orangerie Beauregard. The site is well spaced out with good size pitches and kept very well. Nick and his staff are most amiable always happy to help.

Liked - Very enjoyable stay. Peaceful and relaxing set in a forest with nature on your doorstep and waking each morning to birdsong. Good base to explore the local area and the wider Loire valley.
