Camping Les Chambons is located on the banks of the Creuse in the vilage of Argenton-sur-Creuse. Les Chambons is a nice spot to set up your tent, caravan or camper. All pitches have running water and electricity and the entire campsite was renovated in 2017. On Sunday afternoon the owner welcomes you with a complementary drink. This also sets the tone for the relaxed atmosphere on this campsite.

Camping comfort all year round

The sixty camping pitches of Camping Les Chambons can be reserved year round. Because most of these pitches are connected to electricity and running water, they also offer maximum comfort in the cooler seasons. The lovely pitches are also spacious and have sun as well as shade. The campsite has two new toilet buildings with individual showers, toilets and sinks. The toilet buildings are heated, so that they can be used year round.

Comfortable mobile homes

Camping Les Chambons rents six mobile homes year round, three of which with two bedrooms and three with three bedrooms. The mobile homes are each equipped with a half-covered terrace, a TV and wifi. The pitches for the mobile homes are so spacious that you can also park your car on them.

For young and old

Camping Les Chambons is a place of relaxation for all ages. For the very little ones, there is a range of play equipment, such as a trampoline and play castle. Older campers can toss a ball on the jeu-de-boules pitch or play table tennis. In the high season there is an entertainment team for young people. In the summer months there is regular musical entertainment.

Liked - A lovely small peaceful campsite alongside the river. Lovely walk into picturesque town. Only 1 bar open but had a lovely beer. Started raining. Great stopover. Great site location and facilities. Felt very comfortable and would definitely return

Liked - Beautiful location. Chalet was equipped with all basic needs except a kettle
Disliked - No one at reception when we arrived and no notification about how long we would have to wait. Very disconcerting after a 12hr drive.
