Very pleasant spot on the route from Troyes. Near a lake and with good cycling opportunities. Layout of site attractive and roomy. No shop in village but some provisions in the office.
Pleasant, well organised clean site set in a pretty wooded area with large lakes and two golf courses nearby
Great location, short walk to the lake and beach. Nice, clean beach and lake good for swimming. Traditional French toilets that are in need of a bit of a refurb - need to take your own toilet roll. Pitches good, we pitched near the front so we could just see the lake. WiFi is only accessible around the reception area. Good selection of groceries in the reception area. Good value for money with ACSI card.
Spent 4 nights in here in May to visit the area, in particular Troyes. Chose a plot near the rear toilets in the middle of several older caravans which we thought were seasonal. They were actually construction contractors which was a bit of a surprise. They were very quiet and polite though and would go again. Site very close to lake and forest.
Having stayed here over a number of years I have to express my delight with the progress at this site. The steady improvement has now included a very large number of well-drained gravelled emplacements which really address the low-season worries of motorhomers. Careful tree-surgery has also improved the amount of light (and TV signal!) reaching many pitches. Warm welcome, good facilities and delightful walks through the woods and by the lake opposite the site. Highly recommended!
Lovely, well run site in glorious surroundings. We were there early December and surprisingly the weather was great! We were going to stay just one night, but ended up staying 5. Will return!
Unfriendly staff. Pitches were very small and half the facilities were shut even though the site was open until the end of December. Also no hot water in hand basins.
Always apprehensive on entering an unfamiliar campsite, but no problems here. All good. No pool, but only resting for two nights. ACSI card not accepted, due to one day in high season and one day in low season. Accepted to pay for both nights at full price. Beautiful inland holiday location. Good for bikes. On departure we were unable to unite our electric car/caravan plugs. Reception were extreemly understanding and the on-site handman managed to reassemble the plug and socket, sufficiently to continue our holiday, for which we are grateful. Recommended.
Very well run and looked after site next to lake .toilets and showers kept clean with all amenities .pre order your bread the night before .nice individual pitches most with hard and grass .
Excellent camping with some hard standings. Friendly guardians and very good toilet facilities (a little dated, but perfectly functional and clean with hot water). Unlike some other reviewers I don't expect toilet facilities to be space age. As long as they are clean & functional this is all that really matters, isn't it? There is fresh bread that can be ordered every morning, and there is a cafe-bar in a hut right at the entrance to the site (which was even open when we arrived on October 13th). Everything else was shut (a few restaurants & crazy golf that are just at the site entrance also), although the beautiful lake is always accessible... It brought back to me fond memories of swimming across it at it's longest point with my father thirty years ago... No mean feat, as it is a big lake.
I conclude that this must be a lively site in the Summer & is recommended.
The only criticism? It would be better if the toilet block timed shower button and lights stayed on for a little longer!
