Wonderful place. The site is in an ideal place; the staff are really friendly and helpful; the facilities are great - from the toilets and showers to the pitches themselves or rather simply the ground to camp on. I loved it there.

Brilliant site. clean and efficient. right on the ramparts of the town which I would compare to Sarlat or Carcassonne. Definately in my top 10. loved it. loads of great places to eat within easy walking distance.

Travelling party: Couple

Clean and well appointed campsite with professional polite helpful staff. Could do with being upgraded to accept card payment (cash or cheque only accepted), but this was only a small inconvenience in having to walk 5 minutes to a cash till. Great convenient location within the town walls with lovely views across the surrounding countryside.

This is a really exceptional overnight campsite with spaces on the ramparts overlooking the countryside. The showers and toilets are basic but clean and it is exceptional value for money. It is two minutes into the lovely town of Langres. We have used it many times going too and from Calais. I Recommend it.

Good welcome in smart reception from multi-lingual host. Opened at 17.30 but this was at the end of the season. Heated showers which were clean and welcome. Pitches not delineated but plenty of space. Amazing views from the site on ramparts of lovely small town (if it wasn't for the fog). Wish we could have stayed longer but tunnel was booked!

Well we must have missed something, judging by other comments. The small reception was closed at 3.45 and one could barely see through the window for dirt. In fact we thought it was derelict apart from a ACSI sticker and a few other stickers. The toilets I assume we're behind the reception and equally filthy, couldn't quite believe it. If this is an ACSI inspected site I'm surprised. We thought it may have been an Aire. The only positive about the site was the view from the town walls. We had a good look round to see if we were missing something, but no this was it. Other Campers arrived looking equally surprised. We waited for quite some time to see if anyone arrived at Reception, but to no avail. ACSI THIS NEEDS TO BE CHECKED OUT. I've had to tick two extra categories otherwise review would not be accepted. Namely accom, swimming pool, there was none!!!

Perfect and convenient stopover camping. Quite busy. Not a lot of restaurants in the town open later on in the evening. Town closes down at 9.30pm.

Very good stopover - stayed 2 nights. Great location inside town walls, clean facilities, wi fi effective only near admin block. Will be on list of regulars.

Excellent situation inside the old walled town. Lovely views from the ramparts. Very convenient for local shops and cafes. Very good value .
