What a bargain site for a stopover. Very welcoming and we found a nice quiet spot at the top of the site next to the field (no electric). Nice walk in the woods directly from the site and there seemed to be a good indoor swimming pool attached but we didn\'t use it. The town seemed nice on our drive out and we were sorry not to have spent one more night so that we could have had a little look around.

Stayed here one night on the way to Calais , easy to fine , friendly manager , who spoke little English . Site very quiet , due to time of year . No wifi .
Pitch was on open fields which were very wet , as we had had rain . Nearly got stuck on one pitch , went to a drier one , but had to use gripper pads .
Facilities clan but basic . Very clean , well kept site .
Easy to empty grey waste , good facilities for motorhomes .
Easy walk into Sezanne , but not a lot in town , apart from a beautiful church , with lots of history .
would use site again .

Terraced grass pitches. Very well kept and clearly marked, but no privacy. This was not a problem when we arrived. We were allowed to choose our own pitch and we respected other peoples space. However, twelve workmen came and pitched four tents directly behind us and proceeded to walk straight through our pitch to and from the sanitaires. The men were quite intimidating, staring at us and our campervan. We decided to move pitch out of their direct route to the toilets. Our new neighbours told us this was their fourth year on the site and they have never experienced work men on site before. I think we were just unlucky, but it did spoil our experience of this otherwise very nice site, including the early morning wake up call as the men gathered at the toilets at 5.15am before heading off to work. The grass is lush and well mown. The sanitaires very clean with toilet seats in the ladies and toilet paper in both. Showers powerful with plenty of hot water. We walked into town past a makeshift traveller encampment and ate at La Mezzanine. Excellent food at a reasonable price.
