The lively family campsite Le Moulin is located in close proximity of the town of Patornay and the larger Clairvaux-les-Lacs. The outdoor swimming pool (170 m2) of the campsite has a slide and a small covered swimming pool. A calm river suitable for boating - with beach - flows along the campsite. All in all, a very amiable site with lots of communal activities.

Lovely communal atmosphere

This popular campsite is characterised by narrow roads and a large number of trees. The entire site looks very well-maintained. The pitches at Le Moulin vary in size. They are mostly demarcated by greenery. The surface is mostly grass, here and there you camp on gravel/pebbles. Don't have your own camping equipment? You can also rent a mobile home, cabin or bungalow.

This family campsite is a wonderful relaxing resort for those who like the entertainment on offer, such as activities for children, a children's club and mini disco. There are naturally also various activities for the youth and adults. There is an amicable, relaxed atmosphere with much camaraderie.

Water spectacle

The indoor and outdoor pools of the campsite are not very large but offer lots of water fun for children. The swimming pool lies at a slightly higher section of the campsite, ensuring a wonderful view. From the campsite you can easily reach the river. The water's edge is an ideal spot to relax. Swimming and boating are also allowed.

Eating out or preparing your own meal?

There is a small shop on the campsite. The restaurant, terrace and bar are at a slightly higher level, offering you a lovely view of the campsite and surroundings. There is a fairly standard menu, including pizzas and fries.

Liked - De ligging van de camping is ideaal. Het zwembad vonden de kinderen erg leuk.
Disliked - Het water is het sanitairgebouw was te koud. Er was bij onze staanplaats een aantal keer gedoe rondom de elektriciteit. Het punt lag verweg en de laatste plek was een plek zonder stroom. Dit bleek voor de gasten niet altijd duidelijk.

Liked - Het zwembad was super voor onze kids van 5 en 8. Ook het kleine strandje aan de rivier vonden we heel fijn om 's avonds naartoe te wandelen. De speeltuin was ook een succes! Echt een aanrader.
Disliked - We hadden onze accomodatie vlakbij het hoofdgebouw en daardoor hadden we veel lawaai van de avondactiviteiten.

Liked - Leuke chalet en veel te doen in de omgeving. Prachtige meren en voldoende gevarieerde activiteiten; zowel op de camping (animatie) als daarbuiten.
Disliked - We misten een waterkoker en een parasol in de chalet. Onze chalet stond de hele middag pal in de zon en er was vanwege de beperkte ruimte eromheen geen schaduw. Een parasol of zonnendoek was wel echt noodzakelijk maar zat niet bij het chalet (hut Jura).

Liked - Mooie camping van middelgroot formaat in een prachtige omgeving!
Disliked - Sommige receptie en bar medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk, sommigen wat minder.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Wij stonden met de tent in het gedeelte vlak bij de rivier. Erg gezellig. Genoeg toiletten en wc's. Voor kinderen tot een jaar of 13 is het zwembad erg leuk. Bergachtige omgeving (er zaten ook veel wielrenners op de camping), veel meren waar je in kan zwemmen in de omgeving (niet op loopafstand) TIP: neem waterschoenen mee ivm stenen op de grond.
Supermarkten genoeg in de buurt (niet op loopafstand) en eetgelegenheden. Veel toeristische trekpleisters. Wat ons betreft een aanrader (gezin met kind 13 en kind 15 jaar).

Er zitten veel Nederlanders op de camping. Ik gok 60-70%.
Disliked - Er zaten geen muggen, maar wel veel wespen en rode mieren.

Zelf vonden wij de animatie niet fantastisch doordat er allemaal kleine kinderen tot laat (23:00) aan meededen.

Liked - Een prachtige camping vol bomen en struiken.
De camping is klein maar fijn. Toch is er een prachtig zwembad wat je bij een grote camping zou verwachten.

Disliked - Het toiletgebouw is verouderd en vaak vies.
Er wordt netjes schoongemaakt, maar dat is niet genoeg voor het zeer intensieve gebruik.

De camperservice plaats werd helaas gebruikt als parkeerplaats niet. Niet heel praktisch.

Liked - Kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt. Comfortplaats was handig met een koelkast met vriesvak erbij.
Disliked - Toiletten mogen wel vaker schoongemaakt worden.
Staplaatsen mogen wel wat groter. Wij hadden een diepe kuil op onze plek. Gelukkig geen regen gehad maar anders stonden we blank.
Ook sommige plaatsen hadden een boomstronk in het midden van je plaats. Niet handig
