In the Jura, along the river Ain, you will find the 3-star campsite Les Pêcheurs. This quiet, typically French campsite has simple facilities and little luxury. You'll camp here on a spacious pitch in the middle of the greenery. The touring pitches are on lawns, surrounded by tall deciduous trees and green hedges that provide shelter. There is a new swimming pool on the campsite, but you can also enjoy a nice swim in the river Ain.

Green oasis

Camping Les Pêcheurs mainly consists of touring pitches, but there are also beautiful lodge tents and mobile homes for rent. The green pitches are spacious and well maintained. They lie on lawns and are bordered by deciduous trees, shrubs and hedges. A narrow green strip with tall trees separates the campsite from the sunbathing lawn on the banks of the river Ain.

Fresh dive

In the river Ain, which flows directly along the campsite, you can have a nice swim. There is a beautiful sunbathing lawn along the water. From the campsite you can go through a fence to the bank, where you can walk into the water for a refreshing dive. For those who prefer to swim in warmer water, Les Pêcheurs has a nice new swimming pool since 2018. It is a heated outdoor pool, stylishly landscaped on a large sun deck. The paddling pool has a nice water sprinkler.

Fun to play

As mentioned before, there is no animation program. However, for children who can enjoy themselves there is plenty to do on the campsite. For example in the fun playground, in the recreation room or on the two large bouncy castles. And of course you will also find some table tennis tables and a jeu-de-boule alley.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - De camping lag centraal gelegen, vanuit hier kun je allerlei uitstapjes maken. De camping ligt aan een rivier waar je kunt zwemmen. De camping stond vol, maar toch was het een rustige, gemoedelijke camping. De receptie was erg behulpzaam. De hond was welkom en vond het ook erg aangenaam.

Liked - Super leuke tijd gehad op de camping. De camping is klein, rustig en gemoedelijk met fijne medewerkers. ‘s Avonds en ‘s ochtends lang rustig. Mooi zwembad en rivier aan de camping. Iets verderop een meer. Bakker op loopafstand.
De omgeving is ook erg mooi en genoeg te doen.
Al met al zeer tevreden en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Disliked - Een opties om snacks te eten op de camping zou wel mooi zijn. Nu kwam er 1x per week een pizzatruck en het zou fijn zijn als er vaker een optie tot avondeten is op de camping.

Liked - Zwembad is heerlijk voor verkoeling. camping is eenvoudig maar voldoet.
Disliked - Toiletgebouw is erg verouderd en moet tijdens hoogseizoen vaker schoongemaakt worden.

Liked - Prima camping, met een super zwembad, alleen zijn de sanitaire voorzieningen wel wat verouderd maar redelijk schoon!

Liked - We zaten met z'n 3-en in een mobilehome (de nieuwste) Bermuda, deze zijn nog geen jaar oud en in ons geval in 1 straatje met nog 5 stuks. Heerlijke airco, zelfs een vaatwasser aanwezig. De faciliteiten op de camping zijn iets minder maar deden voor ons niet terzake. Het zwembad is prima om met jonge kinderen te verblijven. De rivier bij de camping is heerlijk koel, er is beschutting van de bomen dus zelfs bij 35 graden is het er goed uit te houden. Over de omgeving ben ik kort, ik heb er van genoten. Genoeg te zien en te doen in de omgeving.

Liked - de rivier, de gezelligheid onder de mensen
Disliked - dat ik 4 euro voor mijn hond moest betalen, terwijl deze het sanitair niet gebruikt, het zwembad niet gebruikt en dat terwijl er "bezoekers" die niet betalen, naar toilet gaan, de douches gebruiken, in het zwembad ronddobberen, zonder dat er controle op is

Liked - Fijne sfeer op de camping, vriendelijk personeel, goed zwembad, een rivier om lekker in te zwemmen of kanovaren, waar voldoende schaduw is, en even een loopje naar het dorpje is ook leuk.
Disliked - Sommige stukken op de camping verdienen onderhoud. En de huisjes staan niet allemaal even gezellig. Wij hadden een splinternieuwe premium cottage die vrij prijzig zijn en keken recht tegen de achterkant van het huisje voor ons aan. Dat vonden wij een tegenvaller.
