On the shores of Leucate Lake, in the French department of Aude, lies the Camping Le Fun campsite. You will have a great time here, especially on the water. During your camping holiday, you can surf and use your SUP (stand-up paddleboard), sunbathe and swim. The latter can be done in the pool, but also in the Mediterranean Sea. From Le Fun campsite, the sea is only a fifteen-minute drive away. At the campsite itself, you will find mostly peace and quiet.

Camping under the olive trees

A paved road leads to the campsite's large pitches. You can choose one yourself. Select a nice pitch in the sun or in the shade. Ancient olive trees provide shady spots and demarcation. A delightful camping experience!

Endless fun for surfers and SUP'ers

Sports enthusiasts in particular will have an incredible time at Camping Fun. Leucate Lake is the place to be for surfers and SUP'ers. The strong coastal wind makes it extra fun for real water sports enthusiasts. This allows kite surfers to jump to impressive heights. Looking for calmer waters? Then dive into the campsite pool. This large pool is an amazing place for hours of swimming fun.

Eating mussels and more

The small bar with a small menu at the campsite may be enough to satisfy all your needs. But there are plenty of larger restaurants in the area to enjoy throughout your holiday. Especially at Port Leucate. This is where you'll find the best spots for mussels, the speciality of the region. But Perpignan or Narbonne are also great places to eat out. Why not combine your meal with a day trip to these beautiful historic cities?

Liked - Die komplette Anlage ist super gepflegt. Auch die Sanitäranlagen waren immer ordentlich und sauber. Es ist angenehm ruhig (war nicht in der Hauptsaison) und alle sehr freundlich.

Liked - Mehrmals tägliche Reinigung der Sanitäter Anlagen. Gute Duschen mit ausreichend Platz. Schöne Camping Parzellen mit Bäumen und Büschen.
Viele Freizeitangebote für jung und alt. Schöner Swimmingpool. In der Saison mittwochs Essen mit Musik, DJ oder Livemusik

Liked - Freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang bereits an der Rezeption!
An sich eine schöne Lage des Campingplatzes mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und schöner Poolanlage!
Allerdings ist für lärmempfindliche Gäste der hintere Bereich des Campingplatzes nicht zu empfehlen, da eine sehr stark befahrene Zuglinie in direkter Nähe (Abstand < 100m) verläuft! TGV, Regional- und lange Frachtzüge verkehren dort!

Uns hat das allerdings nicht gestört, wobei wir der Zuglinie am nächsten waren!
Disliked - An sich war die Anlage und auch der Sanitärbereich sauber, lediglich die Toilettenanlage hat deutliches Potential nach oben! Nicht einmal die Toiletten selbst sind hier zu beanstanden, sondern die gefliesten Wände und der Boden sollten einfach regelmäßig gereinigt werden!

Liked - Unmittelbare Nähe zum Surfrevier, durch die Container keine langen Weg auch um das Material aufzubewahren. Durchweg großzügige Stellplätze und weit auseinanderstehende Mobilheime, sodass jeder genug Privatsphäre hat. Pool sehr sauber und trotz Pfingstferien immer freie Liegen und Schirme.
Disliked - Für Kinder, Jugendliche und Nicht-Surfer ist wenig geboten, was wir vorher wussten und was auch gar nicht schlimm ist, aber Ball spielen im Pool sollte unbedingt erlaubt sein (natürlich mit Rücksicht auf die anderen Gäste).

Liked - Wir waren nur für eine Nacht auf dem Weg nach Spanien dort, aber der Platz wäre auch für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen mehr gut
Disliked - Kein Zugang zum angrenzenden Etang möglich, da die Unterführung der Bahnlinie (welche man kaum hört) unter Wasser stand, obwohl es schon mehrere Tage nicht mehr geregnet hatte. Ein einfaches Brett o. ä. hätte hier ausgereicht
