Camping de Montolieu is located on the edge of a wooded area in the South of France, fifteen kilometres from Carcassonne. This small, well-maintained campsite has recently been taken over by a young couple, who have largely renovated it. The well-organized campsite is quietly situated and has spacious, demarcated touring pitches with lots of privacy. The nearby town of Montolieu is known as the village of books.

Lots of privacy
The well-organized campsite is located directly on the road. There are 43 touring pitches, all delimited by hedges on three sides. So you really have a field to yourself, with lots of privacy. The pitches are neatly maintained, and the straight, paved paths are lit at night. As the campsite is situated directly along the D629, you sometimes hear some traffic noise. However, it is usually nice and quiet.
Pleasant pavement café
The main building at the entrance has recently been completely renovated. In addition to the reception you will also find a well-equipped recreation room, a bar, a snack bar and a pleasant pavement café. In the morning you can get fresh bread and croissants, and you'll also find a small assortment of local products. Not only dinner, but also breakfast are served at the pavement café. Please note that these services are only available in high season.
Wine and jeu de boules
In July and August, all kinds of activities are organized on the campsite for its guests. On Wednesdays you can join the pleasant ‘table d’hôtes’ (communal meal). On Sundays there is a petanque competition, and every Friday evening you can take part in a wine tasting. There is also an excursion programme and guided hikes are organised.
