A lovely site, whose only drawback (for tent campers) is the extremely hard and stony ground. But it\'s worth making the effort to drive the pegs in! The individual toilets and showers are a real plus, the only downside being that mine was lacking an electric shaver point (I don\'t know whether that was typical). The restaurant is good, and although I was there in late August I didn\'t encounter the mosquitoes that others have complained about. For what the site provides, the price I was charged seems amazingly modest.
Handy site, but no grass pitches for tents so not ideal. Onsite Restaurant was good, mosquitoes were bad. Individual toilet/shower is unusual. Staff helpful. I imagine this place is busy in high season! Stayed one night, but would go elsewhere to find a grassier pitch for out tent if passing again. Fine for vans etc. Feels a bit like driving into an industrial estate on the way in!
A really strange (in a good way) site. Shower, loo and washbasin in a little, private room on the pitch is odd but very nice. The pitches are quite narrow but very long giving plenty of space. People at reception fluent in English and very helpful. Shame internet only available at reception, the restaurant one is non-operational, but at least it is free.
It is in a nice setting, by the étang, with gated access to it. Quite easy to get to Narbonne, Gruissan and the beaches. We had only intended to stay 2 nights, ended up staying 6 and only left then because we had to head home.
Only downside is the mosquitoes. Getting fairly bad at the end of our stay but I can imagine them being a pest later on in the season.
Restaurant on the site served up a good 3-course meal at a reasonable price and the pizzas’ that others were eating looked good. A really nice manager made the service a pleasure.
Spent a few days here whilst returning from Spain. The individual toilet, shower cabins are a good idea, plenty of hot water, Internet effectively there is not any expect outside the reception. Good sized pitches. Staff very pleasant and helpful. It\'s close to the A9 which makes a good out of main season stopover
We spent 5 nights at this site. Having an en-suite shower and toilet was a novelty, and very convenient. Most of the pitches were well delineated by shrubs etc. There were some pitches that were very long and narrow, hemmed in by tall leylandii hedges, which are not good. If your into windsurfing and there is a strong wind blowing this site is excellent. Staff very friendly and speak very good english.
Albeit that we were there near to the end of the season most pitches were in poor condition - bumpy, worn etc. Many of the short-stay pitches were long and narrow such that it would be have been impossible to erect and awning alongside your van. We were also plagued by mosquitos throughout our stay.
Lovely, friendly and ever helpful staff who speak at least 4 languages. Individual sanitation on every pitches. Very clean and neat site.
Great stop over site on the way up or down the coast. Stayed here a few times now and like the individual toilets per pitch. Could be very busy in the height of summer.
Quite a distance from pitch to reception - had to go there for wifi which was quite expensive!
Individual toilets seemed good idea but ours needed to be painted/refurbished and water pressure was so poor we had to use shower in caravan!
Narbonne beautiful but as I am a \"wobbly\" cyclist, did not cycle there as road was like racing circuit and not suitable for my cycling ability!
Underground car park in Narbonne not designed for MPVs!
We arrived late but the lovely owner was not worried and gave us a pitch and said we could change it to wherever we wanted to the next day. The private shower and toilet facilities was such a novelty I wish more sites did this. The bar/restaurant was also good and we had a lovely holiday. I would recommend this site!!
