The friendly family camping site Les Cascades is located directly on the bank of the Cèze river. The name of the camping site is derived from the water falls ('les cascades') which you can see and reach directly from the camping site. The wooded region in which you are staying is called Vallée de la Cèze. Although very touristy these days, there are still numerous quiet spots to be found and the hilly landscape is as beautiful as ever. The camping site is in close proximity to the medieval town of La Roque-sur-Cèze.
Where is your pitch?
There are some eighty touring pitches and more than fifty rental accommodation units available on Camping Les Cascades. The terraces are beautifully laid out. The pitches are of virtually similar sizes (90-120 m2). The mobile homes are located in one row, with sufficient distance between them. This ensures the necessary privacy.
Everyone in the water!
The rectangular, heated swimming pool (128 m2) is located close to the entrance and is surrounded by a wide terrace (securely fenced) where you can soak up the sun on loungers. Directly behind this you will find the cosy restaurant terrace. A path and gate with electric lock (all guests are given a key) lead to the waterfalls. You can also swim in the river a bit further along, but this depends on the water level and the current. There are some private beaches here and there.
Eating in Italian style
The camping site is Italian-oriented, which is borne out by the number of Italian dishes on the menu of the excellent restaurant. The products all come directly from Italy. The supermarket is large, with, not surprisingly, an extensive range of Italian products.
