A lovely large site for couples or family\'s with a variety of pitches under trees. Good facilities.
After 2 months travelling in France this was our favourite site. So good after 5 nights we did a detour a couple of weeks later & came back to relax. Staff are so helpful & friendly they really are a credit to the site. Many repeat visitors which always says a lot. Most pitches are under trees which we like & mixed in with the cabins. Small shop with essentials but local town of Sommieres has a large Intermarche. The onsite restaurant & bar are excellent though & very well priced. Beware of the huge portions ! Wine tasting available at the family owned vineyard. Nice pool area. If you want a fairly quiet well run resort then we highly recommend it.
The pitches vary a lot in size and shape, and there are too many trees and roots, which makes it difficult to place the caravan in a way where it is possible to put up awning.
Showers are missing hooks for hanging clothes.
Due to the many cabins spread all over the site the whole camping atmosphere is gone and it is more like at charter holiday.
The distance to waste disposal and reception is too far.
Spent 10 days here simply a fantastic site well equipped and great for local towns and villages. Cycling is particularly good. Quieter in September.
Lovely site, good facilities, excellent location. Plenty to do and see in the area.
Pitches spoilt by trees in the wrong place.
A very pleasant campsite in a great area for walking or cycling. There are waymarked walks accessible directly from the site. Unfortunately the toilets and showers - which were kept spotlessly clean - are exposed to the elements which means they are rather cold at this time of year. I was also a little disappointed that the shop and restaurant were closed despite there being quite a few people staying on the site.
Just spent 2 weeks at this fantastic site. Kids (8 and 11) loved the pools, especially the 3 water slides. Plenty to see in this area, perfect weather - we'll be back (especially if they get more ping-pong tables!) :-)
This is a very special place, probably the friendliest campsite we have come across, the kids loved it as did my my parents (both nearly sixty) the owner Mathew is a lovely person and can't do enough for you, the pools are great, restaurant amazing. I like to cook so can be a little fussy but ended up eating in the restaurant every evening, kids' food was great too, our wooden cabin was perfect and had plenty of space for all of us. We were four adults and two kiddies, all in all a wonderfull campsite, cant wait to go back.
This camp site is in an excellent base for exploring some beautful places. The camp site itself is very nice, small, quiet and well- maintained. It's ideal if you want a relaxing holiday. A few negative points are that there is only one child seat in the restaurant which is crazy considering the number of toddlers on site. It meant the one time we wanted to eat there we couldn't as the seat was being used by someone else. The shop is also fairly poorly stocked with just the absolute basics. We stayed in a log cabin - it was fairly comfortable with air conditioning and when things did break (dishwasher and shower head) the staff were fairly quick to come out and repair them.
only problem is the severe risk of damage to longer caravans on entering site. combination of steep slope and camber on road means that outfits can be damaged when they \"ground\" on the tarmac on way in. apart from that, excellent site, well run, efficient staff, great restaurant. lovley surroundings, cycle tracks etc. one of the best sites ever been to. shame about the damage!!
