We enjoyed our 16 day stay in late Sept. The site was almost full the first week we were there but quite empty during the second half of our stay so its unlikely you’d need to book for last week of Sept/Oct. The very low water pressure in several of the showers renderred them unusable at times so best try them out first. The open nature of the shower/toilet facilities makes them ideal in warm weather when wind is light but they can be cool otherwise. Cycle track to Sommieres and local supermarkets is very handy. Oak trees over pitches provide welcome shade in the potentially hot climate. The compromise of acorns dropping on our caravan was worth it.
Friendly and efficient reception-outstanding
Facilities modern and very clean
Interesting town near good cycle track
Swimming pool nice but size must be tight when site full
Quiet area but students on course rowdy in pool and using slide in dangerous manner
Same students drive into site at 3:00am and are very very noisy
Only free wi fi to be found standing outside office-for price one would expect free wi fi
ACSI prices end on June 1st
Emplacements large but site mainly shady with low oaks. Some branches low for campervan a on roads and emplacements
Overall nice site-let down by badly behaved students overnight and in pool and failure of site to manage behaviour
Siite very busy despite high price but very good facilities lots to do in area
A lovely large site for couples or family's with a variety of pitches under trees. Good facilities.
After 2 months travelling in France this was our favourite site. So good after 5 nights we did a detour a couple of weeks later & came back to relax. Staff are so helpful & friendly they really are a credit to the site. Many repeat visitors which always says a lot. Most pitches are under trees which we like & mixed in with the cabins. Small shop with essentials but local town of Sommieres has a large Intermarche. The onsite restaurant & bar are excellent though & very well priced. Beware of the huge portions ! Wine tasting available at the family owned vineyard. Nice pool area. If you want a fairly quiet well run resort then we highly recommend it.
The pitches vary a lot in size and shape, and there are too many trees and roots, which makes it difficult to place the caravan in a way where it is possible to put up awning.
Showers are missing hooks for hanging clothes.
Due to the many cabins spread all over the site the whole camping atmosphere is gone and it is more like at charter holiday.
The distance to waste disposal and reception is too far.
Spent 10 days here simply a fantastic site well equipped and great for local towns and villages. Cycling is particularly good. Quieter in September.
