Camping Le Rochelongue lies on the outskirts of the popular coastal resort of Cap d’Agde, some 500 m from the Mediterranean. The harbour, the shopping esplanade, Waterpark Aqualand, theme park Luna Park, Canal du Midi and a few discos are all located in the vicinity. Whether you are a sun lover, cycling enthusiast or angler, you will always find something to do.

Green grounds

The green grounds are located along a quiet road. The pitches are of a reasonable size (80-90 m2), demarcated with low shrubs and neatly laid out. You can choose a pitch in the sun or (partly) shaded. The surface is partly made of grass, partly of sand. There are quite a lot of rental mobile homes.

Atmospheric swimming pool

There is a beautifully laid out, heated swimming pool with a playful, heated toddler pool surrounded by loungers. You can always find a shaded spot here. You camp here within walking distance of the Mediterranean. The child-friendly beach slopes gently into the sea.

Fun boat and aqua gym

There is a playground for children, a brand new multi sports field, a climbing wall, table tennis tables and entertainment for all ages. Small campers can join the Children's Club. Treasure hunts, archery lessons, a fun boating event and sport tournaments are also organised. Senior citizens are also not left out: they can join the morning gym, water aerobics and stepping tutorials.

Terrace with cosy seating

The campsite shop has a fairly large range. Don't feel like cooking every now and then? The restaurant has a limited menu but serves also snacks and pizzas. There is also a bar with terrace. Flop down on one of the comfortable seats and enjoy the view of the pool.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Clean pitches and sanitaires. Plenty of space. Staff efficient and friendly .
Disliked - Really disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. The site was full for most of our stay and I feel that even a restricted menu or a bar would have been pleasant.

Liked - Friendly staff, reception and catering
Very clean facilities, toilets and showers always spotless. Pool area very clean.
Pitches good size.
Site location very good close to town and beach
Disliked - Pitch surface can be improved, was basically earth, no grass. Fortunately dry weather or could have been a mud bath

Liked - Location, location, location. Nice pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. Bus stop right outside camp entrance. Nice pool. Fresh bread in the morning. Friendly helpful staff. Has night time security, very reassuring.
Bus service takes you either to the Port or old town. Get a day ticket for unlimited trips.
Disliked - Would be nice to have separate male and female toilets and showers.
Grande creme café was too small.
Having information about local church services may assist religious campers..

Liked - Everything. This site us definitely on our revisit list!
Disliked - The fact that vehicular access was available 24/7. There was a harley Davidson gathering and noisy ubconciderant bikes were returning at 1am in the morning!!! Grrr

Liked - Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. We decided to stay an extra night and she sorted us out.
Disliked - The only thing I could fault was the shower fobs they gave us so we could use the showers, one didn't work. Has we had gone in a cubicle that had two showers wasn't a problem we shared the one. If you had been in a single one you would have had to get dressed again and wait for reception to open.

Liked - Keurig nette camping met aardig personeel. Plaatjes zouden iets iets groter mogen maar we hebben het gered. Was een leuk verblijf.
