Camping Les Sablons is located on the beach of the Mediterranean and by a lagoon near the town of Portiragnes-Plage (Languedoc-Roussillon). It is a very luxury camping site with an extensive water park and a separate balneo swimming pool with spa, many facilities for sports and games and a wide-ranging entertainment programme for young and old.
As soon as you check in, you will notice the atmosphere and service of this well-equipped camping site. The camping site is subdivided in 'quarters'. For instance, some of the chalets are located by the lagoon with a view of the water. Another section houses the most luxurious rental accommodation. The cottages have a decked terrace or private garden with wooden garden furniture. The camping pitches are spacious, beautifully laid out and partially demarcated.
A large advantage of Les Sablons is its location next to the wide sandy beach of Portiragnes-Plage. The beach can be reached directly from the camping site via a guarded access gate. You can hire pedalos for optimal enjoyment. You can also go on an exciting trip on a banana boat, go sailing or play a game of beach volleyball.
Sports, games and showtime
The varied entertainment programme is a top attraction of this camping site. There is a mini club for the little ones, where they can do crafts, water games, build sand castles and dance. Great fun for older children is 'Club Ado', where they organise all kinds of activities for two different age groups. Some of these activities: soccer games, water slide tournaments, beach games and tree climbing routes.
There is also no need to get bored in the evenings. Enjoy the camping show, the foam party, evening swims, live music or a cabaret show.

Liked - The location was lovely. And the activity facilities at the site were great.
Disliked - The food we had from the restaurant wasn’t the best, maybe a little pricey for the quality
Liked - Camping pitches were a good size. Surroundings well cared for. Facilities clean and tidy. Swimming pools great
Liked - Beach, activities, foam party, bakery,
Liked - Our first time at a French campsite having used Mark Warner, Neilson and Centre Parcs in the past. Whilst the quality of accommodation, grounds and facilities was not of the same order this was reflected in the price and so value for money was excellent. Loved the onsite bakery, the pizzeria (though expensive) and the gelato. The entertainment in the evening, whilst very French, was good fun and the play area was also good.
Disliked - We couldn’t persuade the kids to go into kids club as they were a bit daunted by how loud and full on it was in French. This meant we couldn’t really use the adult only area.
Liked - Activities available. Shows very good. Bakery yummy!
Good selection in Spar shop.
Disliked - Nowhere quiet to sit and have a drink.
Liked - The staff were really helpful when my son was not very well. The staff in the bike shop just outside was also very helpful and friendly. They would go out of their way to help. The first aid attention was also very good and prompt. It is a great campsite with lots to do for children.
Disliked - Did not sell any cider. The shop is a bit expensive. The pool was very busy most of the time. No ovens or tv in the accommodation. They could work with the local attractions to offer discounts. Show more English premiership football matches on the tv.
Liked - The beach access
Disliked - Very loud in the evening
Liked - The amenities and access to the beach. The reception team were VERY helpful when our youngest son was ill.
Disliked - The swimming pools need enlarging / updating when compared to other sites we have stayed at. The separate large adults only pool seemed at odds with a family site where the family pools were very crowded.
Liked - Accommodation very good
Disliked - Bar prices expensive, food choices gone backwards compared to my previous 5 visits.
Liked - Pool being close to the beach
Disliked - Bar prices. Were high
