With clubs for children and teenagers, a large swimming paradise and a wide diversity of rental accommodation, Camping Le Floride & L'Embouchure offers something for everyone. There is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from and a sandy beach just a 15-minute walk away. There is also plenty to and see in the surrounding area, from a visit to Perpignan to a drive towards the Spanish border.
Camping Le Floride & L’Embouchure is located in the most southern part of France. The campsite is divided into two areas: ‘Le Floride’ and ‘L'Embouchure’, which is on the opposite side of the road. Zebra crossings offer a safe crossing point for young and old. A 25-minute drive along this road will take you to the delightful city of Perpignan and in 40 minutes, you'll find yourself in the border village of Perthus. There is a fun fair next to the campsite, which means that you may experience a little noise from time to time.
3000 m2 swimming fun
There's no shortage of places to take a cool dip at Camping Le Floride & L'Embouchure. With a swimming paradise of no less than 3000m2, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the refreshing water. There are three 21-metre slides, and one water slide even measures 35 metres.
With such a large swimming pool, the beach almost seems unnecessary. However, it can still be nice to alternate your swimming pool days with relaxing beach ones. The beach is just under a 15-minute walk from the campsite.

Excellent site for families with children. We were happy on the L\'Embouchere site with our own washroom. We personally do not like crowds and loud music but that is not the fault of the site. We would not revisit for that reason. We appreciated the good FREE wi fi.
One of our favourite campsites in the South of France. Our dog loves swimming in the fresh water of the adjacent river where it joins the sea. Nice walks to the local towns. Great cycle way to Aldi. Several markets each week. We will be back next year.
A large commercial site that actually grows on you out of season. Would expect this to be very popular with families during the high season but also ticks many of the boxes for visitors during the low season. Is divided into two parts. As you approach from main routes the right hand site is much quieter with easy access to some large flat pitches, this section is also closer to the beach and has several pitches with own shower, toilet etc right next to the beach. It might be well worth paying the extra euros for these pitches.
The left hand site is more compact with most of the facilities ie reception, swimming pool, gym etc. I would suggest that on arrival you drive onto the right hand section and select a pitch as the reception car park on the left side gets full and you are likely to get boxed in or be forced to go around the entire site with its narrow avenues only to exit the site again or inevitably search for a pitch on the opposite side of the site. Even in the low season the reception can get busy.
The swimming pool outside is rather cool but the inside pool was quite warm and also fairly large.
Good access to the beach and the cycle path.
A truly excellent site very well run, with spotless toilet facilities. The only downside to this site was the insects in the evening,we were eaten alive and we had repellents. We understand that pitches some distance from the river were not affected. I would use this site again providing I was placed away from the river!!.
On arrival the staff were very helpfull and spoke to us in English. As we arrived too early
we visited the restaurant and had pizza and chips washed down with beer, very nice. We also took time to look around the excellent swimming pool complex with about 5 pools flume and jacquzi. Then it was off to our pitch, we had chosen one with our own toilet facilities which is great. Once settled in we explored the area. Straight out the back gate of the site a walk across some rough ground takes you to the mediteranean and a 10 minute walk takes you to the town with restaurants shops and market on certain days. I would suggest taking bicycles as a nice cool way of getting around as about a mile or so away is a nice marina with more shops and restuarants and inland is an inland lake (étang) which is nice. I rate this campsite quite highly.
