In the heart of the Pyrenees-Orientales you will find Camping Le Sainte Marie. You camp in a flowery forest, on spacious pitches under high trees. And the campsite is only one kilometre from the beach. Dive into the sea or the large swimming pool on the campsite. The children can splash and play or slide down the slides. There is also a nice children's farm.

Spacious pitches in green surroundings

Have you checked in at the friendly reception? Then you can make your way to your pitch. A wide, paved road brings you to your spot for this holiday. The pitches are situated under tall trees. They are spacious with plenty of shade. Hedges, flowers and shrubs demarcate them. All this greenery gives the campsite a soothing appearance.

Running and jumping with holiday friends

Your children will have no trouble finding holiday friends at this campsite. There are many play areas for young and old. See them run and play football on the sports fields. And they can jump all day on the bouncy castles and trampolines. And of course, there are also many organised activities at this family camp site. In the mini club, the little ones can do crafts and cook together. For you, this is the moment to enjoy a nice swim in the pool.

Large and playful swimming pools

The large swimming pool is in the middle of the campsite, near the restaurant. For a refreshing dive or an hour of swimming, this pool is ideal. But there is a surprise waiting for you ... Cross the footbridge to the new swimming area.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Big pitch, great area for cycling, nicely situated near the sea and beach and a river and easy walk into nearby village and seafront area
Disliked - Nothing really, we arrived as pool was closed late in season but it looks great

Travelling party: Single

Liked - Clean and tidy. Toilets and showers spoteless. Water was lovely and hot.
Peaceful but it was outside school holiday. Pine trees give lot of shade which in summer must be bliss.? Staff lovely. Loads of playgrounds for kids. Plus the pools. Bike lanes just outside the campsite.
You can order your bread at the reception.

Disliked - The main pool was shut. Shame. The main wild beach is close -enough but sometimes i wished i could just swim in warmer waters as it was still spring. Saturday night party a bit loud. No bus stop . You have to walk, ride or drive to get to shops. About 20 min ride so not the end of the world but still. A few items at the reception as campite shop closed at this time of the year.

Municipal campsite with access to lovely long, clean, sandy, supervised beach. Pool looks newly-modernised (didn\'t use it, prefer sea). Facilities adequate but old-fashioned. Restaurant disorganised but Entertainments Team delightful and enthusiastic. Nice private adequately-shaded pitches.

Rather tired toilet facilities, but kept clean. Staff mostly speak English and tried to be helpful at all times. We found that some of the pitches were a bit tight for our single axle caravan and some are an odd shape. Try to choose if you can. The swimming pool is new and looked very smart, although we didn\'t use it. We used the take away a couple of times, but when we ate out, we walked up to the main street or along the road by the beach. Good value for money. Gate to the beach was closed at 18.45, but access via the street alongside the camp was possible after that. A big site, but divided into small areas and the hedges and trees make it friendly. The beach was a mixture of sand and scrub, but good for dog walking and the part by the sea was fine. A lot of dog poo though - it seems that not many people cleared up after their dogs. The sea was a bit cold when we were there, but it was early in the year.
