Campsite Au Soleil d’ Oc is located on the banks of the Dordogne, just a few kilometres from the village of Argentat. At this campsite you'll camp on spacious pitches under trees or directly on te waterfront. Children can swim in the two swimming pools, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. They can also take a dip in the river, also a great place for canoeing and fishing.
In the vicinity you can discover many pretty villages (Monceaux-sur-Dordogne and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne).

Camping at the waterside

The campsite is very green. The many trees and shrubs give the campsite its natural character, although because of them and the different narrow roads it can look a bit wild. On the other hand, this lay-out makes the campsite playful and creates beautiful private spots.

The roads to the pitches may be quite narrow, but the almost a hundred touring pitches are all the more spacious. You camp under the trees, in the shade. Especially the pitches directly on the banks of the Dordogne are beautiful. At the front of the campsite there are many rental accommodations, while the touring pitches are situated on the edges of the terrain.

Swimming

he campsite is very suitable for those looking for peace and quiet, but also children can enjoy themselves. The swimming pools, located near the entrance to the campsite, are especially attractive for children. At the campsite you will not only find a large outdoor pool, but you can also take a dip in an indoor pool. Parents can keep an eye on their children from the pavement café, sipping a drink.

Also very suitable in for and after season for lovers of peace and space. At 4km of the picturesque Argentat."

Liked - Dans l'ensemble, camping très agréable, au calme et très verdoyant, équipements de jeu (terrains de basket, boules, badminton, mini-golf..) jouxtant le camping et gratuits (avec prêt de matériel), très appréciable, piscine extérieure très sympa. Région et population très sympathiques - Un souci technique a retardé l'ouverture de la piscine couverte, dommage car la météo nous y aurait bien orientés, mais la gérante nous a sympathiquement dédommagés (nous pouvons comprendre les problèmes d'approvisionnement de pièces). Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé une très belle semaine avec nos ados.
Disliked - Bémol : on attendrait d'un 4 étoiles un peu + d'entretien dans les allées ou à certains endroits du camping (vue sur le compost et outils du domicile des gérants depuis notre chalet, aucune fleur même à l'entrée, chemin menant à notre chalet tout boueux...) - Partie à revoir pour améliorations futures ; )

Liked - Bonne semaine passée au bord de la Dordogne. Camping agréable, familial et bien situé. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec la rivière et la présence de deux piscines au camping. Notre tente lodge était bien située.
Disliked - Un seul bloc sanitaire utilisable pour tout le camping. La propreté des lieux peut être améliorée.

Wunderschöner Platz mit großzügigen, mit Bäumen und Hecken hübsch begrünten Stellplätzen. Wir waren direkt vorne am Flussufer und fanden es dort herrlich im der Nähe des rauschenden Flusses, wo man auch schön baden kann. Das Restaurant und Hallenbad waren wegen Corona geschlossen; das Aussenschwimmbad ist schön, relativ klein aber ausreichend, zumindest in dieser Saison. Sanitäre Einrichtungen mehr als ausreichend, sauber aber ohne Klopapier, was wirklich nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist. Die Abflüsse in den Duschen gehen sehr schlecht, so steht man selbst nach kurzer Zeit im Wasser, was unappetitlich ist. Warmwasser ist auch nicht immer da. Grundsätzlich empfehlenswert, schon wegen der Lage und der freundlichen Platzleitung!
