This modest, attractive camping site is situated in a non-touristy, green and hilly area in the town of Liverdun, north-west of the interesting city of Nancy. The site of Les Boucles de la Moselle is beautifully situated on a loop of the Moselle, next to a sports and recreational field. You have a lovely view of the castle of the medieval Liverdun.
This is a former municipal camping site, extensively renovated by the Quinot family and lovingly managed by them. You will notice straight away that the owners have implemented several original ideas, for instance a lowered desk for disabled persons. The camping site makes a well maintained impression.
Where is your pitch?
The 178 touring pitches are fairly spacious (70-90 m2), non-demarcated and have a grass surface. The paths running alongside are not hardened with gravel, but are made of loamy sand. The trees offer a fair degree of shade. The grounds have been partly raised. There are separate pitches for the disabled and there are four rental accommodation units.
There is a small, oval-shaped, sunny swimming pool (water at chest height) on the camping site, safely fenced-off. Cyclists and mountain bikers are pampered here with special facilities (bike rental and a breakdown service point). Walkers and other nature lovers will also spend a wonderful holiday here. There is playground equipment for the little ones and nearby sports facilities.
Making dinner or going out?
When you want to do your own cooking, you can get your supplies in the small camping site shop. Expect a limited range. However, fresh bread is available on a daily basis. There is a small restaurant, with breakfast service, a bar and a cosy terrace.

Liked - Very little.
Disliked - When we arrived The receptionist was not very friendly and after a tiring day travelling we headed to the restaurant for dinner to be be greeted by a very grumpy restaurant manager and no clear system for table reservation. There was a clear inability to cope, in the end we walked away.
Pool and shower block not clean and shower block too small for the amount of people on site.
All in all the most disappointing site we have visited on our tour.
Liked - Easy booking and friendly reception staff.
Disliked - Too busy on Friday and Saturday evening of our stay. The service in the restaurant was EXTREMELY slow.
Liked - Een nette rustige camping met grote kampeerplaatsen
Liked - Pretty campsite
Disliked - The restaurant had 4 tables seated and yet they said they were two busy to make one portion of frites? Fair enough if the restaurant was full like it was later in the evening but it seemed unusual to use they as a reason when there were so few people eating there at that time.
Nice spot on the Moselle. Train horns disrupted peace day and night. Restaurant serves nice food but understaffed and unable to cope at busy times.
Liked - Very nice camp site. The proprietor and his staff were very friendly and wonderful.
Liked - the pool
Disliked - limited shade on pitch, reception could be better, poor wifi - would pay for better wifi
Liked - The pool was excellent, and the shower block was very clean and with well laid-out shower cubicles.
Disliked - The onsite restaurant seemed to be struggling to cope with demand - the tables were full, but not many meals were appearing. We waited for nearly an hour for two salads. When our meals did arrive, they were very good.
Liked - Great location and comfortable pitch. Lots to do for a few days stop-over.
Liked - solid soap at the sinks
Disliked - toilet paper not always available
