We had an impromptu stay here to break the journey back to Calais and what a lovely surprise. We did stay very early on in the season but it is a lovely quiet campsite. Great if you don\'t enjoying screaming kids and thumping music. The showers were included with the price, something France and Germany don\'t like to do; preferring to be very irritating by insisting you arrive for your shower armed with 50 cent pieces. We were let chose our own pitch but not sure of that was due to the time of year we went. All the pitches we saw were hedged with either full height or low hedges. There are also mobile homes and chalets for rent which seemed lovely.

The pitches have an electricity point very near by as well as a tap for water. The taps seemed to be 1 tap for every 2-3 pitches so no traipsing across the sits for water needed.

It was our last night camping after being around Germany, Belgium and France and we certainly ended on a high note. I\\\'d have no hesitation going back again.

Good site, friendly welcome, good site for transit through or exploring area. No hard standing for large units and sat nav route takes you down windy and steep roads, when you are towing not very good. Did find another flat route out though.

The best thing about this site is the reception. The manager is very friendly and helped us by giving us a walk map. I thought the price very steep considering the very poor toilet facilities and comparing with other sites. There was only one female toilet and a handicap toilet available. I could not use the squatting ones because I would find them too difficult. I went to use the toilet one morning and someone had somehow covered the whole compartment in what appeared to be red vomit. This was not cleaned until around mid-day. I would definitely not use this site again although there are some lovely walks in the area.

A very quiet site out of season, peaceful and relaxed. Pleasant walks in the area if the weather is kind.

The site was in need of some TLC, though our visit was end of May. Appart from Metz there was little around to get exited about, and I would only use this site again as a overnight stop.

End of season when we arrived so we could pitch wherever we liked. Staff were very helpful & provided us with walks that began on or close to the site. Bourlay well worth a visit with a good market on Friday.

Very good reception, pleasant and helpful. The showers are excellent but they are near the reception: the other facilities are less good, and a long way away. Toilets are old-style French, and there is no proper chemical toilet disposal. But we enjoyed our stay here. The village is in walking distance but dead, the nearest shops are in Boulay, except one brave lady in the village of Gondreville who is trying to start a new one. Pleasant area with at least one waymarked walk.
