Camping Parc du Château is located in the hilly and water-rich Vosges mountains, an area perfect for hiking and mountain bike tours. The medieval centre of Epinal is located a half an hour's walk from the camping site. You reach the centre via a lovely route through a park, where you'll see the famous castle.
Medium-high deciduous trees
The partially flat and partially rolling terrain is shadowy and planted with blooming bushes and (medium) height deciduous trees. The spacious pitches are laid out in rows on lawns or gravel. The paths are paved. The rental accommodation (mobile homes and bungalows) are a bit aged, but well maintained and clean.
Take a dip
The elegant swimming pool has lovely round shapes. There is also a jacuzzi and separate kiddie pool. A pergola and decorative stones around the property make it a contiguous whole. Plop down into one of the loungers and work on your tan! The covered terrace of the restaurant is next to the swimming pool. In the high season the owners come by with a slice of melon or another snack.
Animal garden and playground
There are provisions for bad weather with a TV on the Camping Parc du Château. Next to the camping site there is a lovely park with a zoo and a playground.
In the charming camping restaurant with an extensive menu you can have a meal, but also order a snack. The decor is charming thanks to the lovely atmospheric lighting. On the terrace there are a few picnic tables where you can eat and drink. On the camping site you can also shop in the small shop with fresh bread every day. There is a larger supermarket 10 minutes drive away.
