You will find spacious Camping Seasonova de Vittel in Vittel, the famous spa in the Vosges region. The thermal baths are just 1.5 km away and there is much to see and do in the area, especially if you're interested in arts and crafts. The campsite has marked camping pitches. There are also mobile homes available for rent on the campsite for holidaymakers without their own camping equipment.

Shaded camping pitches

The many old and tall trees provide plenty of shade so that you can always find a nice cool spot during the hot summers. Despite its proximity to the city, the campsite is very peaceful. The tall trees may disrupt the TV reception via a satellite dish somewhat. The pitches are well-tended and separated by low hedges. Guests come from far and wide and are especially interested in the natural surroundings and the thermal baths.

Water and spas

Vittel is not only famous for its bottled water, which is sold worldwide, but you can also find the large Nestlé bottling plant (near the station) in town. Les Thermes de Vittel, the thermal baths located along the Avenue Bouloumie, are also very well-known. Those who want to try their luck at the tables can do so at Casino de Vittel.

Surroundings

There is plenty of natural beauty to be found in the area surrounding Vittel. The most beautiful spots in the Vosges region are located in the regional natural park Ballons des Vosges, a little further east. But you can also indulge yourself in the nearby area, with long cycling trips through the countryside.

Liked - A grassy and spacious pitch on a quiet campsite. Good facilities. We were only passing through on our way somewhere else but I would like to return to spend more time in the region.
Disliked - The WIFI on the campsite was very slow and I ended up using my phone to get internet access for my computer. This is true of every single campsite I have been to.

Liked - Alles wat er in de tent zou zijn, was aanwezig. Formaat van de tent was naar verwachting.
Disliked - Wc was ver weg. Niets te doen op de camping. Gelukkig waren we hier op doorreis. Kregen geen informatie over de brood service. En een supermarktje is er niet.

Liked - A very nice Safari tent, complete and with nice beds.
Disliked - Showers and toilets. The building with toilets that was nearby was very, very old and not very clean.
The showers and toilets at the entrance was good.

Liked - Nice relaxed site on the edge of town. Good size pitches
Disliked - Need more power points had to ask to move as cable unable to reach power socket. Some road noise... as to be expected

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The location of the site is very good. A 15-20 minute walk takes you into the town centre. On the web site it states that reception is open from 2 pm but in reality it is 4pm. There is a system to get into the site via the internet and set up on certain pitch numbers and thereafter attend at reception when it opens. The pitches are fairly large and access to them is easy. There is a fairly modern toilet block which is adequate for a site of this size. Bread can be ordered at reception which was manned by perfectly pleasant staff.
Disliked - This site is in need of TLC. The grass on the majority of pitches needed cut. The hedges on all the pitches required trimming. The toilet block, although modern needed a clean.
