Nestled between the mountains, with the caves of Niaux within walking distance, it's instantly obvious how Camping Des Grottes acquired its name. Located beside a small river, with amenities such as a large swimming pool and a wide choice of children’s animation, it's the ideal place for a relaxing camping holiday. As well as large pitches, the campsite has many rental options for comfort seekers.
Optimal comfort Set up your tent or caravan under one of the large trees on the grounds, or add a little extra comfort by booking one of the campsite’s rental options. The campsite has many different chalets and mobile homes to choose from. Some of the chalets even accommodate eight to ten people. All of chalets and mobile homes have a nice covered veranda, where you can enjoy meals together or relax with a book.
When you walk towards the campsite pool, you won't fail to notice the large water slides. With four slides to whizz down to the bottom, there's enough room for everyone. There is also a paddling pool and fun fountains for little ones to enjoy. And plenty of room to sunbathe by the water.
Caves of Niaux
You can probably guess how Camping Des Grottes gets its name. The caves of Niaux are a stone's throw from the campsite and visible from the campsite. They are well worth a visit, if only because of the fascinating pre-historic paintings.
