Superb location and really friendly owners who are really welcoming. A lovely, quiet site that is a perfect base for the Pyrenees

This was a site that we dropped in on early June and stayed for 10days, and glad we did. Still work in progress as far as the menu, but we are sure in 2020 it will be fine, just because the owners are dedicated to making it. Probably the best welcome and hospitality we had ever experienced; nothing was too much trouble. Don’t expect bell’s and whistles because all you’ll get is piece and quiet.

This site is a little breath of fresh air, a bit off beaten track ,but still easy to find in this lovely area of France the ‘Ariege Naturel. Friendly owners and staff who cannot do enough for you. We had a very pleasant set meal last night at the camp restaurant as the owners do on various nights. The site is quiet at this time in the season ,but thats fine with us at our age. Our pitch is 200sq.m. with plenty of space. Free WiFi on the whole site

Reaction from the campsite July 10, 2019

Dear Shirley and Georges, Thank you so much for your advice, we really spent a very good time with you, and thank you for your encouragement for the cooking ! Best regards, Anne

A very good site which has to be booked in high season. I booked and was asked if I had a large caravan which I have and was given an excellent pitch flat and large. Nice bar with simple restaurant but the food was good, small pool with good clean facilities which can be stretch a bit in the mornings. The attraction of this site is the area. Maz d'Azil is a 5 minute walk away and the grotto is a must to see. The mountains of the Pyrenees are 15 minute drive away and there are some fabulous routes for the car in outstanding scenery. Carcassonne is an hour away, Spain 45 minutes as is Andorra and for a day out the Mediterranean coast is a couple of hours away. Excellent site
