While general site maintenance is acceptable (grass cutting etc.), excavating an adjacent pitch using heavy plant equipment during the day is certainly not! The noise and dust created forced us to leave the campsite. I would expect this kind of work to be carried out while the site is closed in the winter. This shows a total disregard to the comfort of the site\'s customers. The WiFi worked just long enough to take the money from my credit card and then did not connect until the last 20 hours of the 72 hours I had paid for. When asked for a refund, the site manager responded, \'it\'s nothing to do with me\'
Cheerful reception, good English spoken, campsite facilities clean and obviously recently built. Pool unavailable as this area being rebuilt. Upper half of the site area taken up by holiday tents, lower half terraced pitches amongst trees with views across the Lot valley. Hard standing on most pitches. Site empty at our visit in late June 2013 - not surprising considering previous reviews but now well worth a visit and is very good value at camping card rate.
The worst campsite we have ever stayed on, toilet and showers disgustingly filthy, even the sanitary bins in the toilets had got old soiled nappies and sanitary ware in them. Could not have been cleaned in weeks. The reception we received was curt to be polite and were made to feel as though we were a hindrance.
Site was scruffy, unkempt and neglected. Our pitch was dreadful. Very stony, full of ants and weeds. Showers only just got above cold despite asking for hot water (staff seemed to think almost cold water was acceptable.)
All buildings in need of painting. Poolside area/snack bar/games area scruffy, neglected and closed. It says swimming pool opens 1st June (less than 2 weeks after our visit). This pool looked as though it will not open this year because it was empty, filthy and needed painting.
The whole site gave the impression it had just opened after being closed for several years. Not what we have experienced on other sites and the worst site we have stayed on in France.
