This is a secluded peaceful site. Nice big showers. Well situated for visiting Cahors, St Cirq Lapopie, Gouffre de Padirac and Rocamadour.
Stayed 2 nights as a stopover on way south. Small, pleasant site within driving distance of Cahors. Cannot comment on pool, child friendliness, etc. as low season. Easy to get to from motorway. Motor home owners take care in wet weather as pitches can become very muddy!
Stopped here for 4 nights in June, it's too good to be rated as just a stopover site. Cahors and the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring. We didn't use the toilet or shower facilities as we always use the ones in the caravan but everything else was of a very acceptable standard. The staff were friendly and the bar food was excellent. It was a small menu but better to have a limited choice presented well than a large choice cooked badly. Will certainly use the site again.
This is an ideal stop off en route to the South of France and Spain. Approximately ten minutes from Junc 57 of the A20 and on the D820. We only stayed for one night but the facilities, although a little dated, were clean. The pitches are spacious and meant we could remain 'attached' to our caravan for the night, so a quick get away next day was assured. The pool is clean, although painted concrete and not tiled, but the water was cool and really refreshing in 28 degree heat. Only recommendation is when you turn right off the D820 you fork right, going left takes you into a builders yard. Signage could be better but we were pleased with our night halt and will probably use it again in the future.
A disapointing end to our summer holiday, we stopped here on the way home for 2 nights and left after 1. The toilets are outdated and not very clean. The pool was painted rather than tiled and in some places the paint was peeling, also the pool surround was not very clean so mud and bits of hedge were constantly being brought into the pool. The staff were pleasent and the pitch size was excellent, but we will not be stopping here again.
