In the middle of the Lot hills, in a quiet spot by the water. That's where the Camping Le Clos Bouyssac campsite is located. Here, you will find complete peace and quiet in a green setting near the village of Touzac. You will be camping on a spacious pitch directly by the river Lot. A perfect place to relax or to cast your fishing rod. Need a little more relaxation? Then take a dip in the large pool or choose a lounger on the shore.

Camping by the river

The Camping Le Clos Bouyssac campsite has very spacious pitches for your caravan, camper or tent. Almost all spots have a view of the river. Will you choose a large pitch under a tree right on the water? Or perhaps a slightly higher spot in the more heavily wooded area? Here, you will also find the new safari tents, for an extra luxurious camping holiday.

Swimming in the sun

Every French campsite needs a swimming pool. This campsite is well aware of this fact! In the middle of the grounds, we have a rectangular pool. Nothing fancy, but it's clean and spacious. Perfect for taking a refreshing dip if you like, and for hours of fun in the water for the kids. Sun worshippers can choose a lounger around the pool. They are all located in full sun.

Do you feel like raising a toast to your holiday with your fellow campers? Then raise your glasses in the new bar or on the terrace. There is always room for small-scale conviviality at the campsite. This will make you feel at home very quickly.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Mooi gelegen aan rivier de Lot met schaduwrijke plekken. Er is veel liefde en energie gestopt in het creeren van een nette, frisse camping (met een traditioneel Franse uitstraling) waar je je gelijk thuis voelt. De familie en vrijwilligers zijn heel behulpzaam en verwelkomend. De plat du jour is uitmuntend en heel betaalbaar. Zoals mijn zoon van 14 zei " de community maakte het echt heel leuk", en zo is het, het zijn de mensen die het hem doen. Oh..en echt goeie koffie voor de liefhebber.

Liked - Wat een fijne plek. Een heel fijne familie camping met een relaxte sfeer. Heerlijk tussen de bomen aan de rivier de Lot. Heerlijke plek om nog eens terug te komen. Oja, en kok Tessa en Zef (?) kookten heerlijk iedere avond! Verre van doorsnee camping eten, maar met goede ingrediënten.
Disliked - De meeste activiteiten zijn meer dan een uur rijden. Maar is niet erg als je bedenkt dat de kinderen het liefst de hele dag op de camping blijven

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - De Lot is toegankelijk voor zwemmen, vissen, kanoën, rustig gelegen in prachtige natuur. Zwembad was ook fijn.
Disliked - Sceptictank liep over en gaf stankoverlast. Werd pas na paar dagen opgelost. Stroom viel regelmatig eventjes uit, en de bakker leverde niet elke dag op tijd. Maar ja, het was Frankrijk bij 35-40 graden. De staf, het personeel op de camping was erg vriendelijk, en deed goed zijn en haar best voor ons en werkte aan oplossingen voor alles, en informeerde ons goed.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Gezellige praktische chalets, heerlijke rivier om in te zwemmen, fijne strandstoelen aan het zwembad, ongedwongen sfeer, leuke initiatieven als muziek bij het water, boogschieten, ouder-kind yoga, bioscoop avond op het terras buiten en personeel is beschikbaar voor vragen en hulp. Veel kleine kinderen en voor hun genoeg te doen. Kikkers vangen, zwemmen in zwembad of rivier, voetballen op het veldje, etc. Alles wat nog wat rommelig en zoekend verloopt vind ik zijn charme hebben. Ze zijn hard aan het werk om het elk jaar nog beter te laten lopen allemaal en staan open voor aanbevelingen.
Disliked - Er zijn wat zaken die (nog) niet helemaal perfect verlopen maar voor ons niet storend. De omgeving, ligging en sfeer maakte veel goed. Wij komen terug!

Liked - Mooi aan de rivier met een heerlijk zwembad. Camping is van een mooi formaat en overzichtelijk. Vriendelijke mensen en iedereen kan er wel iets leuks vinden om te doen. De Bell tenten zijn een aanrader!

Liked - Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst, behulpzaam en gezellig personeel, kleine maar gezellige camping, zeer mooi sanitair en een heerlijk plekje aan de rivier.
Disliked - Geen regels mbt nachtrust, helaas te gezellige buren die t elke avond laat maakten.

Liked - DE gastvrijheid was echt geweldig, zeer gemoedelijke sfeer, prachtige plaatsen, mooie omgeving, heerlijk zwembad.
Disliked - Plaatsen wat aan de kleine kant, capaciteit warme douche was niet altijd haalbaar.

Liked - Mooi gelegen en rustige camping, uitgebaat door heel vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen. De camping is piekfijn in orde en erg leuk ingericht (sanitair, bar, restaurantje, bibliotheek…). Kortom, een heerlijke plek om te vertoeven!
