In the middle of the Lot hills, in a quiet spot by the water. That's where the Camping Le Clos Bouyssac campsite is located. Here, you will find complete peace and quiet in a green setting near the village of Touzac. You will be camping on a spacious pitch directly by the river Lot. A perfect place to relax or to cast your fishing rod. Need a little more relaxation? Then take a dip in the large pool or choose a lounger on the shore.

Camping by the river

The Camping Le Clos Bouyssac campsite has very spacious pitches for your caravan, camper or tent. Almost all spots have a view of the river. Will you choose a large pitch under a tree right on the water? Or perhaps a slightly higher spot in the more heavily wooded area? Here, you will also find the new safari tents, for an extra luxurious camping holiday.

Swimming in the sun

Every French campsite needs a swimming pool. This campsite is well aware of this fact! In the middle of the grounds, we have a rectangular pool. Nothing fancy, but it's clean and spacious. Perfect for taking a refreshing dip if you like, and for hours of fun in the water for the kids. Sun worshippers can choose a lounger around the pool. They are all located in full sun.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - De kleinschaligheid vonden wij heerlijk en voor een kleinschalige camping is er echt goed aandacht besteed aan gezelligheid! Er is een soort van klein Frans dorpspleintje bij de ingang dat veel warmte uitstraalt. De plekken direct aan de rivier zijn echt fantastisch!!!! En buiten het hoogseizoen kun je dan wel niet iedere avond eten op de camping en er is geen uitgebreide kaart, maar het is wel zeker de moeite waard. De maaltijden worden met zorg bereid en smaken voortreffelijk. Het verse brood is ook heerlijk en dijn dat je daar niet de camping voor af hoeft. Het zwembad is ook ruim genoeg.
Disliked - Als ik iets zou moeten noemen dan zou voor mij het zwembad net 2 of 3 graden warmer mogen, maar dat is een heel persoonlijk dingetje omdat ik nu eenmaal houd van een redelijk warm zwembad, maar het zwembad was zeker niet koud en ik heb er heerlijk in gezwommen.

Liked - Een heerlijke vakantie gehad op de camping. Medewerkers zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie grote plaats en het sanitair modern en zeer schoon. Mooi zwembad. Leuk terras, goed restaurant en broodjesservice. Wij raden deze camping zeker aan en we komen er zeker nog een keer terug.

Liked - Genieten van een zeer verzorgde camping met mooie plekken en een prachtig uitzicht op de rivier de Lot.
Disliked - De broodservice was niet goed geregeld. Als er 6 mensen voor je staan, slaat het nergens op dat je een half uur moet wachten omdat Het koffie maken veel tijd kost en er ook nog eens lange gesprekken worden aangegaan met iedereen.
De directe omgeving viel ons tegen, bezienswaardigheden op een uur, 1,5 uur rijden wel super.

Hi Ekelien, bedankt voor jouw review. We zijn blij dat je de kampeerplaatsen mooi vond en genoten hebt van het zwembad! De rij bij de broodservice was soms lang. We hadden niet altijd voldoende mensen om de broodservice zo snel mogelijk te laten verlopen. We hebben daar iets op bedacht voor het volgende seizoen! We gaan werken met online broodbestellingen. Zo kun je op je telefoon, vanaf je tent, croissantjes bestellen en ook direct afrekenen. Zo kunnen we gasten die alleen brood willen ophalen sneller helpen! We hopen dat dit voor jou ook klinkt als een goede oplossing. Mocht je nog eens bij ons vakantie vieren, dan hopen we dat je ons vraagt wat er in de omgeving te doen is. We vertellen je graag over restaurants, evenementen, markten, leuke stadjes. Er is genoeg te doen op kleinere rij afstand. Bij ons in de bibliotheek vind je een leestafel met flyers, brochures en magazines van ons lokale vvv-kantoor. Nogmaals bedankt! Zonnige groetjes, Rosalie, Walter, Emilie, Rutger, Tessa.

Liked - De locatie van de camping was wel leuk, zo aan de rivier. De omgeving was mooi.
Disliked - Het personeel hadden meer oog voor elkaar of voor de gasten die er al een aantal jaar kwamen. Hadden ook een beetje het gevoel dat die gasten voor getrokken werden. Het WiFi ontvangst was zeer slecht en de stroom viel veel uit, maar daar werd aangemerkt. De tegels bij het zwembad lagen los. Maar het zwembad zelf kan ook wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Er was weinig te doen voor 12+. De bar was door de bruine kleur erg somber en niet echt uitnodigend. Sanitair kan beter en vaker schoongemaakt worden.

Liked - Onze XL-plek aan de rivier met mooi uitzicht, honden konden vanaf de plek zo het water in. Perfecte plek om te vissen ( werd ook veel gedaan door al onze buurtjes)
Disliked - Nieuwe toiletgebouw wat minder, douches vaak koud, water liep niet goed weg, natte wasbakken , bleef water op staan zodat je je spullen niet even neer kon zetten. Werd wel veel schoongemaakt! Oude toiletgebouw wel meer warm water. Omgeving prachtig! Met de honden vanaf de camping veel wandelingen gemaakt.
Personeel echt allemaal super vriendelijk! Dichter bij zwembad wel hutje mutje plekken, maar volgens mij had iedereen het er wel gezellig! Wij wel mooie ruime plek aan de rivier, veel sterke stroming in de rivier. Voor visliefhebbers aan de plek mooie plekken! ( meerval van 2.15 )
