Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

What a gem of a place. The welcome from Chloe and Nicholas was warm and friendly, as was the case from other fellow campers, who were predominantly regular French visitors. We stayed for 3 lovely weeks and found the location excellent for visiting the surrounding area. We were reluctant to leave but were given a personal departure by the owners and promised them that we shall certainly return one day. Good luck to the hard working owners who deserve all the success that they deserve.

Travelling party: Couple

This is delightful campsite run by a French couple who took it over in 2017 and in that short period have obviously invested a lot of time and money to bring the facilities up to a high standard. We stayed for two weeks because it’s also central to a lot of very historic fortified towns in this delightful part of Aveyron valley and canyon. Would strongly recommend.

Best campsite we’ve stayed at in France, spotless toilets, pool and bar area. We ate a few times in the bar and the food was excellent and prepared by Nicholas the owner, the new owners are working very hard and improving this site with everything they do.
We arrived for a week and stayed three! 5 mins walk into Montricoux (medieval village) so many thing to see and do in L’Aveyron, walking and canoeing are excellent. We are definitely coming back next year.

Travelling party: Couple

Arrived for a few days and decided to stay for 17, new owners are lovely and work very hard at keep everything perfect, beautiful pool, immaculate shower block and only 5 minutes walk to the village, fresh bread delivered to you pitch every morning! We also had a poorly dog and the owner rang and made an appointment at the vets for us. One of the best campsites in France.

Travelling party: Seniors

This is a lovely campsite with really friendly owners. Cannot comment on bar/food as not yet opened for season but nice ambiance. Only two toilets available - one French style and one sitty down - there was a newer toilet block but not open yet for season.

Pool was filled whilst we were there and looked very inviting. There is also a smaller pool for toddlers. Free wifi but only at bar area.

Lovely 2 hour walk around the environs of Montricoux and couple of circular walks to Bruniquel - a small hilltop hamlet nearby. We had lunch in Cafe Elia in Bruniquel - lovely home made quiche and a very pleasant owner. You can eat in her garden opposite but needs a bit of TLC.
