Les Écureuils is a beautiful 4-star campsite ideal for families with children of all ages. This campsite is located close to the centre and the beach of the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz. This is an area famous for its large tidal movements and the beaches that stand clear of the water as a result. The highlight of the campsite itself is the water park.

Well-maintained pitches

The campsite is divided into two parts. In the front part, most of the pitches are not far from the sanitary building. The pitches in the rear part have more shade thanks to the many trees. On this campsite, which also has a variety of mobile homes, chalets and lodge tents, you will mainly meet many French families with children.

Generous aquatic area

At this campsite, you can be sure that you will lack for nothing in terms of swimming pleasure. There are two spacious outdoor pools, a paddling pool and a real water playground. All pools are also heated. There is extra water fun thanks to the family slide and the water slide. Would you rather swim indoors? Then take a relaxing swim in the swimming pool, which is covered by a sliding roof. You can also swim in the sea, as the nearest beach is just a few hundred metres away.

Next to the water park there is a bar with pleasant outdoor seating where camping guests can relax and enjoy a snack and a drink. It is also possible to order takeaway meals.

"Campsite with family atmosphere, suitable for children of all ages. Everything in the village is 500 m away; market, supermarket, various shops, railway station and beach. The road next to the campsite is a car-restricted marked bicycle route. On 450 m walking path along the coast, southern: Sandy and flat, Northern: Rocky and wavy. Dogs allowed up to 10 kg."

Liked - Emplacement pas très loin de la mer et des commerces
Disliked - Piscine froide extérieure pas possible de s y baigner .
Avons signalé jeu dans la porte entree du camping et transat ou il manquait des écrous ce qui n a pas été solutionné pendant sejour

Disliked - Sanitaire sale douche froide le matin piscine froide pour un 4 étoiles gros problème avec les trottinettes électriques surtout celles des adultes au niveau des Sanitaires les voiturettes du personnels roule trop vite sur le site surtout celle conduite par le personnels masculin

Liked - La proximité des commerces et de la plage. La piscine
Disliked - L'emplacement du mobile-home ( entre la route, le terrain de pétanque et la piscine..... Repos très difficile, mobil home dont la terrasse ne s'ouvrait que sur la route ( la porte coulissante du côté bloquée par des visses) bouche d'égouts juste devant qui refoule jour et nuit l'eau de la piscine ( écoulement obstrué) l'aire de jeux des enfants à côté des poubelles..... Dommage que lorsqu'on réserve 10 mois a l'avance on ne puisse pas choisir son emplacement.

Liked - Nous avons aimé l accueil au sien du camping , le personnel aimable et serviable , la propreté des allées et sanitaires , le calme respecté dans le camping malgré qu il soit plein
La piscine top et surveillée avec des transats en nombre .
Gros bémol pour le snack ( pas assez de choix et plat médiocre) , pas de supérette , dommage , même si le carrefour contact est dans le bourg , pour un camping 4 étoiles ça manque …
Il faudrait pouvoir réserver pain et viennoiseries pour le matin
Se serait + Simple
La salle qui sert de restaurant et d animation est trop petite
