Les Écureuils is a beautiful 4-star campsite ideal for families with children of all ages. This campsite is located close to the centre and the beach of the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz. This is an area famous for its large tidal movements and the beaches that stand clear of the water as a result. The highlight of the campsite itself is the water park.

Well-maintained pitches

The campsite is divided into two parts. In the front part, most of the pitches are not far from the sanitary building. The pitches in the rear part have more shade thanks to the many trees. On this campsite, which also has a variety of mobile homes, chalets and lodge tents, you will mainly meet many French families with children.

Generous aquatic area

At this campsite, you can be sure that you will lack for nothing in terms of swimming pleasure. There are two spacious outdoor pools, a paddling pool and a real water playground. All pools are also heated. There is extra water fun thanks to the family slide and the water slide. Would you rather swim indoors? Then take a relaxing swim in the swimming pool, which is covered by a sliding roof. You can also swim in the sea, as the nearest beach is just a few hundred metres away.

Next to the water park there is a bar with pleasant outdoor seating where camping guests can relax and enjoy a snack and a drink. It is also possible to order takeaway meals.

"Campsite with family atmosphere, suitable for children of all ages. Everything in the village is 500 m away; market, supermarket, various shops, railway station and beach. The road next to the campsite is a car-restricted marked bicycle route. On 450 m walking path along the coast, southern: Sandy and flat, Northern: Rocky and wavy. Dogs allowed up to 10 kg."

Liked - Nous avons l'impression d'être surveiller car nous sommes plusieurs couples et nous prenons tous nos repas ensemble y compris petit déjeuner mais quand on passe à la caisse on nous demande combien on est alors qu'on l'a déjà dit mais on voit bien qu'on nous surveille c'est dommage

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Liked - Joli camping, bien situé avec complexe aligna de au top. Propreté nickel.
Disliked - Deux familles de 4 dont 2 bébés. Nous avions demandé deux emplacements côte à côte sur la réservation comme on nous l’avait expliqué par mail. À l’arrivée impossible de s’arranger et nous nous retrouvons chacun à une extrémité… interdit également de partager un emplacement car « pas plus de 6 personnes !!! » Au final nous avons vécu sur un seul emplacement la journée et utilisé le deuxième uniquement pour dormir. La petite ballade du soir nous permettait d’admirer les gens qui mangeaient à 10.
En résumé, l’organisation gâche ce qui pourrait être un beau camping familial.

Liked - bon séjour, bel espace aquatique, beau mobil-home propre et nous avons apprécié la proximité du bourg et de la plage.
Disliked - Trop de promixcuité mobilhomes quartier G. La chambre parentale donne sur la terrasse des voisins. Obligés de fermer les fenêtres (bruit)
et rideaux en permanence (vue sur la vie des voisins). Lumières led des terrasses trop puissantes surtout quand elles restent allumées très tardivement voir toute la nuit.
Côté restauration pizza congelée catastrophique !!!! poubelle !

Liked - Personnel accueillant et souriant.
Emplacement au bout de l'allée, avec très peu de passage.
Possibilité de séjour de mercredi à mercredi.
Disliked - Hébergement pas ombragé.
Musique trop forte/karaoké.
Trop peu d'animations le soir, notamment les soirées dansantes.
Réveil à 9h30 par des travaux dans les mobil-homes voisins.
Réveil à 7h30 par l'installation de nouveaux voisins !!!!
