To the north of the popular seaside resort of Pornic, just five hundred metres from the elongated sandy beach, Camping du Vieux Château is a great destination for the whole family. From the campsite, which is situated in the middle of a quiet residential area, you can walk to the restaurants and shops in the town centre within a few minutes.

Compact campsite

The compact campsite is well-organised and has slightly more mobile homes and chalets than touring pitches. A number of trees and shrubs provide shade, but there are also many pitches for sun lovers. You have quite a bit of space on the pitch itself, but there is less space between the pitches.

Always swimming

At the entrance, the swimming pool and the bar form the heart of the campsite. In the summer months there is plenty of liveliness, but always in a friendly way. Even when the weather is not so good, you can enjoy a nice swim at Camping du Vieux Château. The water is heated to 28 degrees and has a glass canopy.

Bite and drink

The bar (open mid-June to end of August) is a great place for a drink or snack. In the summer months there are pizzas on the menu and you can order bread for the next morning. For daily shopping there is a supermarket about three kilometers away. Or stroll through the weekly market in Tharon-Plage for fresh fruit, vegetables and fish.

Fun and games

For children there is an enclosed playground. But there is also plenty to do outside the campsite. For example on the child-friendly beach to which you walk in only a few minutes.

Liked - Agréable moment passé la bas. Pas d'activité tous au long de la semaine dommage que nous étions là que pour peux de temps. Le personnelle du camping et vraiment agréables beaucoup que ce que j'ai connu par le passé.

Liked - Séjour très agréable, très bon accueil de la part du personnel, ambiance très conviviale, les sanitaires sont nettoyés 3 fois par jour, la proximité de la plage (500 m) est parfaite.
Je conseille à tout ceux qui aiment le calme, la convivialité et le partage.
Ce fut nos meilleures vacances.
