Liked - Stayed two nights at this site. Lovely site, warm welcome & good pitch. On our first night visitors were invited to join in the sites celebrations of Bastille Day . Other social events were organised but as we were only there two days we were unable to partake.
The site offers a bar and restaurant which was very popular.
Facilities were clean & well-maintained..
Seating areas are arranged at various points around the Chateau for relaxing & socialising.

Liked - Great pitches, beautiful surroundings, very pleasant helpful staff.
Disliked - Only one very small point. Tonic for a gin and tonic came from big bottles and was sometimes flat. Should have individual bottles/cans.

Liked - This site offers something for most campers, from secluded woodland pitches to open pitches around the main house. The facilities were high quality. Most importantly for us, there were extensive grounds in which to walk and exercise our dog. The bar and outdoor seating areas were excellent, so much so that we just had to watch the European Cup with quite a few very tasty Aperols (just as well as England lost!)! During high season, there are numerous activities for campers of all ages to enjoy. While we did not use it, the restaurant menu looked very good. Well-stocked shop also.

Liked - I particularly love the peace and quiet that Chanteloup provides and the events they ‘lock’ into for you to enjoy if you wish.

Liked - A loverly setting and our 3rd trip however whilst facilities had much improved the reasturant was very dissapointing having to send the food back twice (Steak which was as tough as could be) had yo opt for a piza instead. I think it might be run indipendantly to the site? Dissappinting as it used to be excelent.
Disliked - Reasturant and pricing of the camp site, too expensive and won't return because of this.

Friendly site set in lovely surroundings with very welcoming staff. The facilities onsite were good, including a pool (a little cold) and grassed play/games area. Our pitch was just an area of grass on one of the main fields, but this was fine as we were only staying for one night. The toilet/shower facilities were kept very clean. We sample the pizza's in restaurant, which was good and staff very friendly. There was also bread available in the morning.

There was a motorhome service point, but this was difficult to access and the chemical toilet disposal was not available.

We would definitely stay again if we visit this area of France.

Liked - I have been coming to Chateau de Chanteloup for 10 years and it is one of my favourite places to stay. Normally I would have camped but decided to glamp in the comfortable bell tents.this time. The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have a well equipped outdoor kitchen . The facilities at the Chateau are lovely , the swimming pool, table tennis, chill out areas, a cozy bar and a lovely bistro with wonderful food. There are bikes on site too.The baker comes to the Chateau in the morning, a real treat. The Chateau and garden areas are just beautiful and the staff very friendly

Liked - The pitches are spacious, sanitary facilities plentiful and clean, beautiful pool
area and good games facilities.
Disliked - The grass needs to be shorter particularly by the fitness equipment and badminton court.
Some trees and hedges could do with trimming. The shop could do so well if it stocked more goods.
