The Océano d'Or campsite, which is well organised and well-kept, is a good place for campers who like a friendly atmosphere and well-kept facilities. There is a large bar; the place to be for a snack, a drink and evening entertainment. The proximity of several white sandy beaches (Plage de Boisvinet) and nice seaside resorts (Jard-sur-Mer) also makes a wide public happy to spend their holidays here.

Camping on grass

The pitches for campers are separate from the mobile homes and chalets. They are spacious, flat pitches on a grassy surface. High, green hedges provide privacy, but there are also pitches with less shelter. The deciduous trees provide pleasant shade all day long. The campsite has four neat sanitary blocks.

Clean swimming pool with three slides

At the front of the campsite there is a large outdoor swimming pool. There is plenty of space to relax on one of the comfortable sunbeds. For children the three slides are a real attraction. They end up in a separate pool that is beautifully landscaped with rocks and plants. Next to the main pool there is a heated children's pool. There is also an indoor swimming pool where the youngest campers will also find a nice play area.

Beaches around the corner

The nearest beach is about twenty minutes' walk away. During the summer months you can get there by the free shuttle bus offered by the campsite.

Indoor or outdoor games

Next to a gym there is a sports field for a game of volleyball or basketball. Furthermore, young people can enjoy themselves in the large indoor area, with table tennis and billiard tables.

Liked - Nous avons aimé le secteur piscine rien à dire à ce niveau la.
Disliked - La propreté des sanitaire, toile d araignée dans les portes avec les araignées énormes partout.plusieurs douche ou l eau était bouillante sans pouvoir mettre de l eau froide car sa couper l eau. Et au niveau baignoire bébé pas d eau chaude. Camping qui ne mérite ps les 5 étoiles. Nous avons fait des 4 étoiles bcp plus propre et bcp plus familiale et accueillant. Même ps un restaurant juste un snack. Et obligé de faire la police a 2h du matin car trop de bruit même pas d agent de sécurité pour la nuit.

Liked - Mobil home très beau et spacieux, proximité du centre ville et du supermarché, le snack de très bonne qualité avec des gens forts sympathiques, que ce soit au snack où à l'épicerie du camping, d'ailleurs les prix pratiqués par le snack et l'épicerie sont vraiment convenables!
Amoureux de la Vendée, nous avions l'habitude de partir en Vendée à l'aiguillon sur mer, Jard sur mer s'avère être une bien meilleure destination!!
Le camping où nous allions étant devenu un Capfun nous nous sommes dirigés chez Chadotel car nous trouvons Capfun impersonnels, hé bien........ nous avons vraiment été déçu
Disliked - Accueil déplorable, seul Romain le barman à sauvé la mise, il à été sympathique et disponible, en son absence, la personne en place au bar (le gérant!) est vraiment désagréable! Toujours sur son téléphone, on a l'impression de le déranger, rarement de "bonjour", une cata, je ne comprend pas qu'il puisse gérer un camping : lieu familiale, il à même rembarré mon fils de 7 ans! Déçu par la piscine intérieure qui ne sert à rien, l'eau n'étant pas chauffée, il y fait soit trop chaud soit trop froid, et les toboggans aquatiques sont ridicules par rapport aux capfun! D'où viennent les 5 étoile??

Liked - La propreté des sanitaires, l'accueil à notre arrivée, et la sympathie de certains saisonniers
Disliked - Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas d'endroit dans les sanitaires pour les bébés, c'est un gros manque... obliger de faire un "bain" dans les éviers... surtout par la chaleur que nous avons eu..
