Yelloh! Village Le Pin Parasol is a well-cared for campsite in the Vendée, on France’s west coast. The campsite, which is managed by a hospitable couple, has very large and well-maintained pitches and accommodation. The swimming paradise has various pools, slides, and a water playground for small children, and is the campsite’s highlight.
The campsite is located directly on the Jaunay lake, not even 15 kilometres from the Atlantic coast. This is where France has the most hours of sun exposure, just like on the Côte d’Azur. A good reason to go to the beach. Drive the car east for half an hour and you’ve reached La Roche-sur-Yon, a pretty town with a large shopping centre.
The large, orderly pitches are located on large grass fields and delimited by hedges. The smallest pitches are still 130 m² large, and the largest ones are even 220 m². That’s spacious and luxurious camping! In addition to the pitches, you may also choose from various cottages and chalets, some of which are equipped for disabled people. All of them are well maintained and have a beautiful colour.
The swimming paradise is what each holidaymaker will surely enjoy. On a 2500 m² surface, there is a covered pool, an outside pool, a children’s pool, a water playground for small ones, and four large slides. Even more water fun can be found on the southern edge of the campsite. This is where the lake of Jaunay can be found, which is great for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.

The new part of the site had not opened when we were there so no restaurant, the take away was fine if you liked pizzas, we did not use the pool as it was to hot and no shade, we did not use the sports facilities and have no children so could not comment
A superb campsite with very large pitches.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The site owners are always available and are extremely helpful. A good holiday guaranteed.
Arrived on a French Bank Holiday and although the site was busy plenty of choices of pitch all of which were a good size with water on the pitch as well as electricity. In reception Morgan was especially helpful and although we only initially intended to stay for a week we stayed for 3 weeks. The on site shop was well stocked and good fresh bread daily. Good entertainment was provided and all the staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. We are definitely returning to this campsite hopefully later this year. Lovely location next to a large lake with beautiful walks for our dogs both in sun and shade. Facilities were excellent, clean and plentiful.
What a find. This is a gem of a site. All the facilities were kept spotless, staff were excellent and friendly. The pitches have more than enough room (the two German Shepherds loved the space). This is definitely one site that we will be revisiting again regularly
Clean and friendly site with excellent toilet facilities and a comfortable atmosphere. Will be going back in the high season next year with the kids
We have visited this site on many occasions over the past few years, and it improves every time. We have been here twice this year, in June and September, and always find the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The site, although large, has maintained its family owned friendliness, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The pitches are large, with plenty of choice, and the cleanliness of both the site itself and in particular the toilet block are excellent. I have to mention also the pool complex, an indoor pool for when the weather is not so good (certainly not the case for us this year!) and the heated outdoor pool (with fun slides for 60+ year olds!) and children\\\'s playpools. Fun for everyone!
I honestly cannot fault anything with this site, or with the surrounding region - the nearby lake, the easy to reach beaches and the interesting towns and villages. I would recommend the site as having something for all ages
I would definitely return to this site. It was extremely clean, everything was suitable suited around the site, with a stunning lake as a backdrop. The only critisism I could make was on the food served in the bar and take away, raw chicken was not my idea of a good meal.
Very friendly site, staff are great, plenty to do, swimming pools are excellent. Pitches clean and tidy, toilets and showers very good.
We stayed in June and September this year and each stay we had a fabulous time. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and well maintained. We will be returning in June next year.
We went with 3 kids - 14, 10, 5 years. THe youngest played on the small playground near our pitch and the otehr two hired bikes and disappeared with friends they'd met several times/day.
Pools great with the slides, but a little busy for us at some times which is only to be expected. Bread/croissants delivered daily, and you have to order anything else (pain au chocolate etc)
Very friendly, multilingual and efficient staff.
Toilets and showers good quality and very clean - never had to wait.
Very good site, with a range of pitches, nationalities and facilities. Would return.
