This large, internationally-oriented family campsite is located just a few kilometres from the sprawling sandy beaches of the Vendée. Here you'll be camping in the middle of a ten-hectare pine forest, just outside the village of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, which is built next to the popular seaside resort of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Flower Camping Les Biches is an extremely well-maintained campsite with high quality facilities. It is an ideal holiday destination for families with children, especially during high season. Among other things, the campsite offers a large waterpark, sports and play facilities, a real escape room and a varied entertainment programme.

Spacious pitches in a wooded setting

When you walk or drive across Les Biches for the first time, you'll quickly notice that this is a beautifully laid out and well-maintained campsite. The wooded terrain features a variety of tourist camping pitches. You'll generally be setting up your camping equipment on a grassy spot, although there are also pitches with a more sandy surface. In addition to touring pitches, there are mobile homes, holiday homes and lodge tents for rent.

Water park with two slides

Swimming enthusiasts will have a great time at this campsite. Les Biches has a large waterpark consisting of an indoor pool and two lovely outdoor pools. The water is heated to a pleasant temperature of 28 degrees. A family slide and a spectacular waterslide provide even more splashing fun.

Eating out in the campsite restaurant

You can enjoy a tasty meal in the campsite restaurant right next to the waterpark. The menu includes burgers, pizzas, mussels, salads and surprising daily specials. There's also a snack bar and a nice bar where you can grab a drink.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Liked - The campsite was great very clean and the new facilities were amazing:
Having reception and the shop open all day was a bonus. The staff were super helpful when sorting out our problem with bedding on our booking and providing us with a kettle. British to so like their cup of tea. Will definitely be returning next year.
Disliked - Gates on the balconies or tribu pitches would be really helpful when you have little ones, using deck chairs and clothes dryers was the only option available to us.

A few more choices for vegetarians/ vegans we have a child and parent who are vegan and we could not eat out in the restaurant which was a bit disappointing

Liked - I liked the pool area. I liked the site.
Disliked - I thought the lifeguards were not terribly attentive. I thought the play area, tennis court, ping pong was run down and in need of refurbishment. I thought there were some dangerous paving slabs uneven in the pool area.
I thought the information about animation and kids club and donkey rides was dissapointing. We did not know about any of this until it was too late.

Disliked - That this week the takeaway and shop were closed earlier than stated , and from last Tuesday there were no animations at all .

Liked - Pool was ok when the slides were open
Disliked - Bad management of the pool behaviour, when staff were present were more interested in talking to young women. Shop very expensive. Entrance sign that states ‘Chute’ after 11am and then the campsite okay loud music until 12pm. Entrance barrier bad for right hand drive English cars. Pitch by noisy road almost impossible to get our caravan into.
