In Loix, the smallest village on the Ile de Ré, island on the west coast of France, you'll find Flower Camping Les Ilates. This lively campsite is located between salt marshes and oyster beds, close to the Atlantic Ocean. Here, campers can take a dip in the large heated swimming pool with paddling pool, where water polo matches are held in high season. The summer months are full of fun anyway, as the entertainment programme is extensive.

Well-maintained campsite with mobile homes

The campsite looks well cared for and tidy. Approximately seventy spacious touring pitches with grassy ground are separated from each other by large hedges. So you always have privacy on your pitch. Most of the pitches on the campsite are reserved for rental accommodations. You can choose from mainly classic mobile homes, but you can also spend the night in glamping tents or in a special Cabane Lodgetent on stilts.

Large heated swimming pool

The beautiful swimming pool is situated in the middle of the campsite. This heated outdoor pool is very spacious. In addition to the large pool is a spacious paddling pool, so even the youngest water enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their water fun. Big advantage: the swimming pool is also open in the evenings. Got hungry from all that swimming? Next to the swimming pool is the restaurant. Take a seat at the pavement café and order a pizza.

Atlantic Ocean and beach

If you like the sea, you'll be fine here. From the campsite, a paved road takes you to the sandy beach at the Pointe du Grouin, one kilometre from the campsite. Because this wide sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean is quite remote from the rest of the island, it's a lot quieter here than on the other large beaches of Île de Ré.

Liked - La piscine est sympa, des toboggans aquatiques plus grands serait un plus. Le paysage extérieur est fort sympathique sympathique.
Disliked - L'année dernière nous sommes venus avec le CE RATP nous avons payé 600 Euros pour la semaine et je pense que c'est le prix que le séjour vaut.Les animations sont plus que médiocre. Les tarifs de restauration sont chers pour la qualité . Je demande à être contacté par le service client de flower camping.

Liked - J'ai aimé l'ambiance et la mer pas loin
Disliked - On était au numéro 5 et tout les soirs on entendait les boules de pétanque cogner à coter du mobilhome ainsi que les joueurs . Ainsi les matelas ne sont pas très confortables et je n'ai pas compris je n'ai pas eu le droit au jacuzzi alors que le numéro 6 en face l'avait .

Liked - Logement Home Flower bien équipé, belle terrasse et plancha (miam) ! Camping eco responsable (ruche, compostage individuel…) et bien arboré. On apprécie la location de vélo sur place à prix attractif. Bien situé (Loix) proche centre ville, port, et plage (velo). Camping animé sans être bruyant.
Disliked - Tables de ping-pong en plein soleil.

Liked - Le camping et les services sont bien. Nous avons apprécié la piscine ainsi que tous les jeux pour enfants et structures gonflables.
Les activités sont aussi intéressantes. Petit bémol sur le fait que l'on entende pas assez loin la musique de la mini disco car ne faisant pas attention à l'heure nous ne l'avons vu que 2 fois sur 10 jours.

Liked - Malheureusement cette année le gerant du restaurant indépendant du camping etait totalement hors sujet gentil mais incompétent heureusement la direction du camping contre balance merveilleusement bien pour le reste des prestations



Disliked - La terrasse du restaurant transformé par le gerant du restaurant a perdu son charme avec la disparution du salon contrairement au reste du camping qui c est encore embellie cette année
