Swimming and sunbathing

From the campsite there are numerous cycling options.

Regional dishes

Liked - I highly value the friendliness of staff and these guys did not disappoint. And that was every one of the staff. Friendly, accommodating and so so helpful. Fabulous chalet - everything working perfectly. A very well run campsite.
Disliked - I only have one - possible manifestation on the large glass doors of chalet.

Travelling party: Single

Liked - I came to stay and camp at La Venise verte as it's close to our French twin town as I live in the district Wellingborough. I had a wonderful stay as there are great facilities and generous pitches. I particularly liked the les moules evening, it's within an easy walking distance to Coulon and relatively quiet lanes to cycle around. I had a day in La Rochelle, which is an hour and half away so there's plenty to do and see within easy reach.
Disliked - Ensure there is always cognac in the bar please!!

Liked - Restaurant bar staff very friendly
Pitch was huge and clear with shade which was great as was really hot.
Disliked - Pool.too small for campsite and steps steep. Also the rules about shorts is not followed and no one managed this.
Showers in evening could do with being monitored and not alot of hot water
